Thank you. Doing a DPF Delete especially in newer models just shows a lack of understanding of how the vehicle works. In fact, the DPF is never the problem

Great video on DPFs. However, software delete and exhaust 'butchering' remains the most effective and reliable. I have done it on my 2013 Nissan X-trail and I have never skipped a beat...

Hi Wokabi, thanks for the DPF insights, I am a die hard diesel car enthusiast and i have been running my car with its original DPF since purchase. Personally i would not want to be part of the problem when it comes to polluting the environment so the delete DPF has never been an option for me. I will forever buy diesel torque monsters until when they finally stop manufacturing them

Hi wokabi.... I enjoy your work. I'm not a "mapangaleee advocate". Clean the DPF for the sake of our Lungs..!!! Kindly also talk about AdBlue system maintenance. There's alot of "mapangaleee" on these systems here in kenya!!

Great video on DPF clean ...I'm i gonna using it each and every time when fueling??????

You have to be very disciplined on diesel car maintenance for the DPF to last like 4 years from import without complications. Cleaning and use of additives will suit this category of owners. Best thing is doing delete and forget these problems.

Best option is remove it, soak it in soapy water overnight then pressure wash it. Comes out as clean as new.

There is a reason why diesel variants are cheaper compared to petrol on passenger vehicles even from Japan.

Is this a mazda-only problem or other diesel engines like Toyota or even Benz experience overheating issues and the need to do the DPF delete?

dpf is not of importance in africa. we have been using tractors , lories and other farm machines for years since young. thats why some locally assembled cars doesnt have them..its only ideal in countries like japan where forest cover in most town is exremely low. dpf has no any positive benefit to the car. infact it has negative effect to the engine starting with decreased power,back pressure that might damage turbo etc

I will tend to believe the engineers who design this parts and put them in cars, than a flimsy point using number of trees in a locale
@AntizMwadzАй бұрын
Very true there must be a purpose of put and maybe many don't know its use properly. Apart from the general information people know about it@@gakuomaina3313
@AntizMwadzАй бұрын
@@gakuomaina3313true there must be a reason of put for that part .Probably most people have no idea of how to handle it that's why many advice rushes to delete of the part.Most people who buy diesel especially the mazdas tend not to do forced regenerative maintenance because they mostly ply within cities that are of short distance not allowing full combustion, maybe they have bought them because they appear fast due to torque and maybe fuel economy which is a mild instance.Therefore i feel if one tries to achieve those directives mr wokabi has stated above i.e maybe twice in a month you do forced regeneration, also after some kilometres you do passive regeneration maybe as you fuel your car you try and add the fluid additive shown above it can be a problem solver.The only downset of achieving the three is time consuming, cost will be high etc but atleast it will if not full term solutions but serve certainly hence no need for delete unless the above measures fail to solve the problem.

@@gakuomaina3313 it's like you are not listening,dpf is for just cleaning exhaust gases thannks to environmentalists in the west.It doesn't help your car in any way just like having heated seats in Kenya
@gakuomaina3313Ай бұрын
@@newtonmutea so we do not need a clean environment here because we are not the west? These systems are beneficial, we should just make an effort of troubleshooting them right, soon people will claim we do not need power windows because they were raised in hardship and they can roll them!
