Please Maxon, can you do something about the quality of your uploads to youtube. They are are not HD , and this has been the case for a number of months now. - a concerned maxon one subscriber

I have the Option of 1080p. I think its ok that it is not 4k

@@TobiasSchoenke 4k...these uploads dont even appear to be 1080p. Fuzzy, blurred, poor definition. This wasnt always the case, but it has been a trend for the last 4/5 months id say.

tbh … when seeing what Polyjord is doing in Blender it seem much more versatile over there. fE - correct me if i'am wrong - in cinema the is no was of having one bone only rotation in one axis and the others in another. Noseman also talks about that in the video. There is indeed a limiter (wich only works in 3D-IK mode). But it seems to do something else, than you would think. At least it wont stop the Joint/Bone from moving to the side AND up/down. Even if you limit every axis of the first joint, it will alway target to the goal. Why can't it just be fixed and (only) the other bones try to reach the goal?! I mean … you can work around with an object that's not part of the IK chain + an aim-contraint. But … its more complicated that Blender doeas it. Also it would be great to have kind of a reset-state to tick. Tick it and it jumps back to a predifinted state (t-pose fE, or completely straigt), untick it and it jumps back again to the last state (movement already happening). Blende has this. Don't. know if cinema is capable of that. Rigging seems more complicated than it should be imo

54:53 when I rebuild this setup, the arm tilts to the side. What am I doing wrong? I set the pole vector to "Y" but it doesn´t really obey the setting. Restricting the first joint with the protection tag gives the same glitches as in the video. But the pole vector settings make it even worse.

While I'm all "Team Elly", why was she here if she wasn't called upon or to demo anything besides the open/close?

I'm happy for her to attend as many of these as possible, she's likely soaking it all up and learning as much as we are. I'd prefer for her to become hugely knowledgeable about this stuff so she can explain it all back to us down the track.

He teaches in a very messy tutorial. Unfortunately, I do not like this man's lessons. Not step by step, but an attempt to explain the lesson step by step.
