if you want to understand more about him and his storyline I would HIGHLY recommend his Zach Sang interview, I think it's like a year or two old now but it is still a really good one to watch! ALSO, in the more recent videos the reason he had more bright outfits and things is because he's playing the character Mr. Insanity, whereas in other mvs he was playing Mito or himself!

I know u dont want to get too invested in the storyline but since u asked about what mito was doing in So i Danced i thought i could explain. Basically mito is trying to stop mr insanity from opening the doors. At the end, u see mito appear in last attempt to stop insanity but fails and ends with insanity getting thru the door. These doors are seen in Peanut butter and tears as well when Ian walks thru a door and reverts to a child. These doors are basically past memories that are stored in the consciousness. Mito doesnt want insanity to unlock these memories as a way to protect ian from potentially traumatic memories. this is all based on Ians real experiences however in a more conceptual way of course. Maybe i just confsed the hell out of u but if u rewatch the mvs, maybe u will understand the storyline better if not thats fine too.

For Live's MV storyline-i know in both Kiss Me + Neon AND the MV for Legacy-hes in a space ship and it crashes. (Christian and Dabin have mentioned that they ACTUALLY went to a desert to film those scenes) and in DPR Ian's No Blueberries- Live shows up at the beginning in an astronaut helmet! I think for his other MVs he's traveling around the world to find a girl. (Like in Text Me, he's in England and in Martini Blue he's in Greece) BUT for the Album Summer Tights is on (iite Cool) there's a new storyline. There's 3 MVs (Yellow Cab, Summer Tights, and Hula Hoops) and they're all very bright and colorful. Although Yellow Cab has the clearest storyline in the MV

Since you like Woodz and now DPR Ian and Live, I think you would also like the artist Keshi as well. He's Vietnamese-American and his music has a similar feel(and it's pretty good too).

I know he and the DPR team worked on CL’s 5 Stars! And Christian also acted in that MV. He also worked on Borders by Amber Liu, “Holdup!” by Bobby, Body by Mino, “movie shoot” by Loco, and “Wake me up” by Taeyang!

Fun fact: that desert scene was shot at a real place, wasn't just CGI. Live said it in the video that they we're watching parts of their songs with the kids.

Mito is a character that relates to Ian’s DID and bi polar. Mito is trying to stop insanity from doing too much basically 💀insanity is also apart of Ian’s disorders so basically at the end it’s just mito tired of insanity’s bullshit the key has more meaning behind Ian’s story but I’m sure someone else can explain it better than me
