A lot of people ask me what to do to increase DPS, most think it's heavily gear base or say I don't have enough gear to do this boss or that boss, and this is really not the case. Very good and informative video. I know the video is about dps but I would also like to add what has more value to the player. For me, sgb was a more valuable upgrade than the t99 curses counterpart for a few reasons. One is obviously the spec. Secondly, I'm a big fan of "unlimited ammo" (my upgrades went from z bow > s glaives > deci bow > sgb). In other words, upgrade to what is most beneficial to you and what you do most. And on another note, zgs and ecb will give more dps than their t99 curses counterpart due to their specs- therefore, those 2 are an exception to upgrade to first should you want to. But just for general uses and the order of upgrades, this video is on point 👌 P.S.: didn't know you can set autofire on familiars. That's game changing for me, so a big ol wet kiss and thank you from me for teaching me something new.

@@andydu100 no sadly not for mage since mage doesn't have a weapon that can amplify your dps like zgs and ecb spec. For mage, at the moment, t99 pray > sos.

Summoning scrolls can be auto fired and stored in the sumon, also the Relic Powers from Archaeology are amazing, fury of the small and persistent rage with LOTD are a good combo.

if youre very cheep, use illuminated book of zaros passive, its like a extra crackling 4 hit every 10-15 seconds and only cost around 45k an hour to use

Can you make a mage ability rotation? I'm trying to get into high pvm encounters (tells for example) and I would like to know what abilities are the best to use how should my keyboard be mapped, etc...

The one draw back to getting perks before t90 and t92 is that they are expensive at times and you cannot carry them over to the higher weapons and armor later without destroying your existing gear.

You can with an equipment seperator at item level 15+. This would remove (and save) the gizmos installed while leaving the item intact and augmented. You could then remove the augment and sell the item and reuse the gizmos for the new weapons.

Tip about armor, when doing melee trimmed are kinda important cuz bosses who can use both magic/range and melee attacks will punish you hard if u dont get bleed effect

I have taken to using superior ports armor in general, perked for general use (Mobile/Venomblood, Scavenging 4, Crystal Shield 4, Enhanced Devoted 4). I have regular masterwork, Pernix, and Virtus, too, and even had that first, but I am finding the ports armor to be better for me at this time. I get loot crates, collecting ancient bones for more scrimshaws, and I can experiment with armor perks for a lot less gp. I afk a lot, anyway. I'm afk'ing for the Graador pet as I type this comment, even. It can be easy to focus on the obvious stuff like armor type and tier rather than considering what suits your general gameplay in RS. I'll eventually have ideal perk setups for dps for various things I like to do in game, but first gotta figure out what those are, and I won't know that until after I have and experiment with all the weapons upgrades I want. XD

Imo rotations should be the first thing to work on. A good rotation is the core for dps increasing the other upgrades are just gonna like increase that "core" damage. Anyways great video man :D

some good information, only thing i dont really agree with is scrimshaws, an armadyl or saradomin godbook is cheaper to use and i think they are even a better dps increase than tradable scrims

Only on rare occasions... cruelty and elements scrimshaw is 5% flat dps increase (6,66% superior). To put in perspective: lance (t80 dammage) to scythe (t90 dammage) is a flat 7% dammage increase (because of same accuracy)! I strongly recommend setting up your player owned port for bonesfarming

Middle mouse button/scroll wheel on your mouse.

Click the scroll wheel in and noving your mouse up down left and right rotates the camera. Frees up left hand for abilities and keybinds while moving and rotating with right hand.

I would love to see the ability rotation videos. I feel the ones on KZbin now are dated. Also there is literally nothing for say the perfect rax kill. All you can do is watch a couchy video and try to figure out what he’s doing

Check the Junesong his mage/range rotations are still very viable/informative. Melee is a little dated bc of ed2 abilities/zgs/tmsoa though

well first thing first if u read the abilitys and know which ones are strongest.basics/thresholds along side of bleeds being the strongest thing aside from zerk ur literally just using (whats best) and if u strugge to take 2 minutes to read which basic ability has the highest dmg output then u sir are the problem

Senpai Kratos I specifically am curious about how people are using the Statius spec in their finality. Obviously you want to use it as early as possible but usually you go into a boss fight with full adrenaline and it seems like a waste to use it first. Really curious what high level pvmers are doing with this

Senpai Kratos the tooltip for most abilities is either not complete or plain wrong. There is a lot more to good dps than just reading the tooltips

Bee Piffy and bee if you’re in a group boss you want to use swh as soon as possible as it’ll benefit the entire team and more than make up for the dps you personally lose by using the adrenaline in it. If you’re solo try this rotation Berserk > apot > barge > cleave > decimate > assault > hammer spec > cleave > decimate > limitless destroy > 3hit flurry.

Good video just started RS3 coming from OSRS and it's like a whole different game. In your opinion is this game THAT pay-2-win? its the only concern stopping me from going all in

In terms of PVM its not pay 2 win at all. In terms of skills you can pay to get bonus experience but the amount of exp you need to get 120 in skills youd have to spend a MASSIVE amount of money. People can buy maxed accounts on OSRS for a fraction of the price. So I wouldnt consider rs3 pay to win at all, if you're really concerned about it, you can make an ironman, all ironman cant buy any MTX or participate in bonus exp events.

I still don't have a maxed account or any 99s. Because I play for fun and that's it. Hopefully this applies to your life as well. Worrying about others will cause it to no longer be fun. Just enjoy yourself.

@@Djenta94 yah its definitely over stated in the amount of bxp. It takes an asinine amount of cash to get enough bxp for even one 99 let alone all its a nice boost as you get 2 keys a day for logging in and 2 keys per quest sounds like alot but spread amongst skills not so much

Nice one, but what about arch relics and auras? I recently started with bossing at gwd2 (vindi, helwyr) with magic, nox staff, cinder banes, full virtus and budget perks like p6, e4r3; biting3imp4; enh. Dev4, r5crack4 and my PR is 1:20 at vindi with revo rn. Hopefully I can get better times now with (the missing) dps familiars and adrenaline potions.

Use the Berserker's Fury. It's just a straight up dps increase that goes up the lower your hp is. I use the Berserker's Fury + Persistent Rage (just so I don't have to spam defensives).

You should get elder overloads over supreme, mainly because there are a few item effects that give extra dose/potions, which make the cost of elders cheaper than supreme. Based on RS wiki calculator, its 98k for elder (6), and 114k for supreme (6). Its better, and cheaper, of course assuming that you have the level for it.

@@ThePurpleDuke Yes Ice Nihil is only to increase accuracy, ripper demon actually gives you a damage boost, the ripper attacks itself, and it you have the special attack scrolls. So ripper is better in ALMOST all scenarios, a place like arraxor ripper doesn't work because familiars can't attack the boss so nihil is best at arraxor and vorago, but those are honestly the only places I use a nihil over ripper.

Some of the things showed up doesnt pay for themselves in the majority of the bosses in the game. like grimore, elder overloads and scrimshaws have a high cost/h and are not worth to use in low/mid level, even in high level sometimes...

I would say grimoire for sure shouldn't be used except at solak for free or very high enrage telos. Elder overloads and scrimshaws I would argue are more than worth it for using at things like elite dungeons etc. Not going to want to use elder overloads for slayer or like godwars 1 but most PVM you make so much and especially bosses where your dps can be the difference between getting a kill and not such as solak, aod, nex etc.

As for elder overload it's like a 10k difference per dose compared to supreme overloads. I do agree I wouldn't use elder overloads at like godwars 1.

Unfortunately overloads do nothing for me what so ever. It changes my 400 hit to 410. Oh and ontop of that I’ll ad my affliction to this equation which brings that 410 hit to a 420 hit so I advise anyone who hopes to dramatically boost your dps through overloads to not get your hopes up because you will be disappointed. Doing the new quest “city of sennisten” hoping the spells are worth it and will get your damage up by even 5%? sorry, but there’s little to no difference to dps. There expensive over time to maintain the runes and your not getting the bang for your buck. Ontop of that my virtues wand vs my praesel? Lmao it boosted my 396 attack to 400 sooooo overal if you wanna mmo that’s good and rewarding for your hard work then go play eso this games a joke if your not 120 everything with all quests complete
