Another huge increase is bak bolts and dw/2h swapping you get double the procs and the 2h autos are way better when using defensives like anticipation and freedom. Also tendrils and when you pop your d swift

@@Shroudey Bak Bolts damage cap at t99 but your ascensions won't do t99 damage lol they will cap at t90 but the reason that they are worth it are for the enchant effect. if you use t92 weapons of course these will be better but they are def the best bolts to use however if you are using ascensions and want to use hydrix for their adren specs use ascendri instead as they are 3k gp cheaper per bolt than Hydrix bakriminals. since your capped at t90 anyway and the ascendri do the same they are better. Added note for the bak bolts section. If you're maxed or have maxed range, be sure to put the range cape into your max cape, combat cape, or just wear the range cape. The range cape passive makes enchanted bolt effects more likely to trigger. With elite seer's village diary done you will get a further increase to that chance as well.

The only thing is, you call it a beginners guide and then talk about Vorago, Telos, Solak, Virtus, Tectonic, Sliske's staff etc. I would at least call this stuff intermediate, maybe even end game. Hey great guide! Since it’s for beginners it may also be worth talking about the different styles for beginners! Like what to expect DPS wise, how it will affect the bosses you can do, costs etc. I see so many beginners (myself included) investing a lot into mage just to regret it when finding it that it’s by far the weakest, especially if not using 4taa. I switched to melee after dumping mage, and now I am full on range after realizing how strong/easy it is to use with greater ricochet for pretty much every boss.

inquiz staff is so op that I literally jumped from sunspear to inquiz on my ironman. skipped all the progressive upbrades, then used inquiz to start upgrading my other combat style gear. skipped so many progression grinds by hard grinding arch on release.

I suppose it’s how you view it. Being a beginner to PVM you’d want to know which direction to take in weapons armour perks etc. So it is for beginners as it’s the entry information. You’re not really PvMing if you’re doing GMole and KBD reapers daily.

For ranged progression, is t80 worth it? Do you ever bother with the t80 non-degradables or stick to t70? Nex armors seem dope because of life gain (extra safety for berserker relic?) but sirenic chest+legs is cheaper, albeit much more frustrating to maintain. For melee, t90 seems like such a no-brainer and you can easily justify 14m for an extra pair of legs with scav 3/4 - but for ranged I'm a bit confused whether I should go for t80 or t90.

My clan got me to use shadow glaive main hand and off hand chaotic crossbow for early and cheap access to bakriminal bolts. T90 accuracy sure limited t80 damage but blood sacrifice doesn't care about weapon damage.

Yeah that's a really good setup for basically free. For melee people will buy a twin sisters mainhand and a ripper demon offhand. Very strong. Then you can replace the twin sister mainhand with a drygore mace once you get 50m and you'll only be about 3.5% dps behind double drygores

That's not a good set-up because Shadow Glaives are bugged -- If not paired with its counterpart it deals decreased damage (marginal, but still) It's better to use DW Chaotic Crossbows rather than 1 Shadow Glaive paired with 1 Chaotic Crossbow.

Don’t put seren bow into eof without t92 weapons. Eof uses the weapon tier of your weapon not the weapon stored in any so you’d be massively downgrading your sgb

@@ByongSun Uhm, it's fine if you use Asc with an SGB EoF. Also, SGB EoF allows you to proc Bakriminel bolts with the Bow spec, which is REALLY nice. I wouldn't suggest actually using an SGB anyway (besides for the spec, as a switch) unless you afk camp Capsarii or something (in your POSD).

Nope, unfortunately the hexhunter Is very very niche and basically useless :( the sheer fact you can use Bak bolts with crossbows outclasses all bows except ecb.
