I started playing 2 weeks ago, and your videos have been helping. It's also good to see that me picking Gunlance was a solid choice. I chose it solely due to tank skills since I knew for awhile I'd be solo, and it's one of my favorite weapons in the Monster Hunter series.

I main all 4 assassin classes and I'm glad SH is finally getting buffed big time with the Ark Passive patch. And unfortunately for now it seems like Surge DB is getting a huge nerf and RE DB is either a slight downgrade or staying on the same tier. However the new and improved Z functionality for RE is very nice.

so I was curious and looked at the dps logs for thaemine runs and both artillerist builds are among the lowest in boxplot statistics (there is no echidna data atm). So.. I'm not sure what you mean by barrage is usually cruel mvp but that's definitely not the case for me. Again, this is just my experience in PUGS. One day, we can hopefully cross paths and prove me wrong!

Blaster is not a strong class. Definitelly not cruel mvp. Its in the middle of the pack at best. If you can’t hang with blades, breaker, soul eater then you cannot get cruel mvp

It's actually hilarious to see people frustrated that their classes are lower than others they don't like. But as a player who only returned because they enabled solo raiding, I can only confirm that its content is in line with all the tierlists I've seen so far. But I still think the all tier lists information are too shallow for those who want to choose a starting class. I think criteria should be more than just MVP. I'm a main slayer, and the class is bad, it's just totally dependent on the party, if the supports are good and the boss can stay with aggro on someone, it can beat their long back atk skills. If not, she will never see an MVP. And other Hit Master classes are also like this, for example, a Sorceress in a party without a stagger can even get MVP, but it will make life very difficult for the team. My constructive tip for a future video, or if you already have, forgive me, I just fell into this video without knowing you, I only saw more about Slayer, Mayhem and Glaivier, I didn't pay attention to the others because English isn't my language: -Do something about how to assemble a party and even avoid gatekeep due to prejudice against classes that are in low tier, but that would help your team in the planned matchmaking. -Or separate the classes by MVP, but for each endgame content. -I would also watch if you talked about class tierlists for solo mode. ty

@@MostWantedWannaBE yes, it is anecdotal but it comes from a person who has played with an extremely large amount of players. It is ironic to comment on data as the data we have is significantly biased + low sample size for many of the classes to make an accurate assumption. Any one person who has played with PUGS that also has a dps meter can take into account various factors that skew dps and normalize it for a general assumption. Now, am I saying my word is law? NO. This is just supposed to be a fun tier list from my perspective playing the game for 8000 hours.

@@NoEditAndy yes and i also have 7k hours and my tier list would look very different from yours for one i have a guild mate that plays reflux that loses dps mvp in 1% or less of his raids but is reflux op or is he a gamer? thats why i said these tier lists don't mean anything they are just for community engagement and to show your own biases which is fine they can be fun to watch but i don't think anyone has to seethe or mald or get bent over from these

I met countless reflux players and yes I can think of 2 players that I have impressed me and did great, but the rest have not. That is why I rate them a certain way. There is no tier list of classes because in this game everything depends on the level of sharpening, runes, stones, decks, engravings, on the hands and brains of the player. If a person dies on the boss on the top class constantly, no tier list will help him.

I like my sorc very much and always have but she is really hard to play. More often than not I find myself not using a skill because I wait for a better opportunity to use my class skill. Which makes this a very static gameplay experience. Just did some stuff with Souleater and it felt so much more alive. Being in the thick of combat way better combat flow. No need to wait for my 30sec meteor cd. Some classes have just a better base with higher average dmg and lower skill checks. In the end you need to find your niche. I thought I was doing fine with sorc/drizzle/summoner but I feel I do just way better with melee. Not all melee but assassin archetype for the most part.

master summoner was listed as the number 1 dps class in game for thaemine by internal stats posted by ags, Dont know who you raid with, but got 3 summoners in my guild at 1630 plus and if in a raid with everyone around some ilvl and 10 gems, they always got cruel fight mvp

Most of it makes sense except I'd say emperor arcana should be one tier below empress. Empress definitely does more damage in the current meta assuming a good pilot. Emperor got buffed by 4.2% last patch because she was powecrept quite a lot and she also does work not well in the current meta (echidna, theamine, soon behemoth) - the people who can do very good dmg on emperor are just way more skilled than the people they are beating tbh, so it's not the class it's just hands diff.

I'm biased as I recently had a 1630 empress arcanist who had no crit synergy tripod on scratch dealer and no return skill so... yea. The empresses I play with in PUGS are not as good as the emperors I've seen. But anyway, again it's not a damage tier list

hello i already did test with my soulfist and the soul eater of my friend and there is a huge gap in term of damage between the 2 of them. i used (in trixion) a robust(full specialisation) soul fist. with a meta build and lvl 10 gem and did 120M damage with my ultimate skill and deal less than that in my 20 sec supersayan mode phases (while ulti is in cooldown), using all my skill with the best timing i could so 120M is the best dps i could do in my burst phase. while my friend soul eater with a stuff lower in power and not even in trixion did 120m damage with one skill... with one skill he did the damage i do in my 20 sec burst mod. there is clearly something wrong robust soul fist is know for the damage of his ultimate, but that utimate did as much if not less than a soul reaper skill there is something wrong in the balancing of lost ark.

hi! So alarm bells are ringing for me when you say you only did 120m dps with your awakening. That doesn't sound right and there definitely is something wrong with your build. Go to the lost ark nexus site and make sure it matches!

It feels like you are leaving something out somewhere, is your soulfist 100 ilvls under the soul eater? I play both classes and while my soul eater is significantly better geared my awakening on soulfist does a lot more damage. Are you messing up your self buff rotation? Also level 10 gems are not going to do anything for your awakening as you so not have the option to gem awakening

currently i'm 1585 power stuff lvl 3 , 45katk,1656spe,564crit, (grudge, cursed doll,robust,adrenaline,Keen Blunt Weapon) i did 180m with my ulti. its true its a big number but its only one hit every 3 minute. while the soul eater is 1540 power stuff lvl 2, 33k atk 1808 spe 556 crit he do 200m on 40 sec (40 second is the time to use gauge and refill it to burst again) while the soulfist may do 130m on a full rotation whitout ultime and 280m in the rotation you have the ultime once every 3 minute you have it almost every 4 rotation so if we do the calcul we have 280 + 130x3= 670 m in 4 rotation for the soulfist and 200x4=800m in 4 rotation for the soul eater with less stuff.

I have 4 echidna classes rn, blade main, se and breaker and the last being reaper, while i do around 22m dmg in echidna its dmg is still not compareable to any of my other 3 and in addition the uptime required atleast for hunger is crazy, ive tried lunar but i usually do better on hunger because its a lot easier to greed every pattern while on lunar missing gauge skills will kill your whole rotation.

yes pistoleer is a non-positional build but lost ark nexus claims there can be optional back attacks. I assume its similar to many classes that have a back attack skill for that extra crit + damage

I think control is better than that. Certainly way higher than firepower artillerist. Reflux definitely does more than either aero.. it's just the typical good player is playing igniter since it's "better", so that just leaves the average player on reflux is worse.

DPS definitely has a majority of the factor but I argue in the video that I could put combat readiness gunlancer in the 2nd tier. I always look at the gear ppl have compared to me to evaluate if I have beaten them or not for example if I am upright MVP with 37% and the other guy is also upright but underlined but has a 3-4 lv 10 gems and/or a higher weapon or transcendence then me I consider myself the winner from a equal gear perspective just an example but it also goes for any other example where ppl with sometimes 2/3 or 4 taps higher weapon and or transcendence and higher gems have so similar damage to me I always consider myself the winner idk if this is a good way but hey at least I get happy when I play that way 🤣 Ps: ofc I also look at the class difference e.g. if I get close to top damage with my control Glaive to a surge/Igniter/asura breaker I consider myself the winner by a long shot

Sir, you are sleeping on Control. its better than pinnacle. You just dont see enough. I made a test build with 5x3 engraving support and event gems to test out in guardian and im already competing with my full 10s pinnacle. ~45m in Veskal. class is insanely strong. Expect it to beat my pinnacle by 15-20% once i get full 10s.

Deathblade has one of the highest ceilings in the game and a really low floor. You have to play perfect on db to see those insane damages you are referring to.

how do you have gunslinger up there their ceiling is so low. I do more damage on my reaper than my gunslinger and its lower ilvl. My arcanist does much more damage than my gunslinger and its also lower ilvl. I'm sorry but some of your placements are just bad. Alot of them are correct but putting EO over nights edge is complete bias and you know it. Just for reference my gunslinger is nearly 1647 and my reapers and arcanist is between 1635 and 1638

gunslinger is up there because gunslinger is good. If you aren't doing damage on your gunslinger, I would recommend watching a guide to fix your rotations. EO > Night's Edge is not biased, from my PUGS, if I see EO, I expect them to be on the mvp screen.

But because it's RNG, I have to look at it in the average scenario. That is why this tier list is mostly based on my expectations from PUGS. It is NOT a solely damage tier list

i mention in the video that gl could be on the mvp screen but just not in my experience. They are typically outshone by the above tier classes + supports. Of course, gl can easily outdps some average dpsers and make it on the screen with stagger + dmg contribution

Yes, deathblade has one of the lowest floors in the game so most of the player you see will do no damage. The great deathblades will always MVP.

i agree with you there - I lost to a shock scrapper in echidna last week. However, this list is not a dps tier list and more of my expectations. Not a lot of shock scrappers anymore and the ones I meet don't perform well usually. The more I see scrappers like the last week one, the higher it will be placed in the future!

@@MrDrusso higher roster players have more experience in raids and are more comfortable with their class. As a new player, don't worry about being cruel fighter mvp yet. Also, every class can be cruel fighter mvp as I show in many of my own videos with shadowhunter, berserker, and striker

​@@MrDrusso This is either due to card sets, demon dmg perhaps gems or they just have a better raid knowledge than you. Trust me when i tell you most of the dps come when you know the raid better, itll come with time
