when learning this (or any) rotation, how do you deal with skill queueing and some skills interrupting others? (like dagger3 cancels axe4, hammer f1 cancels hammer2, but you can queue dagger 3, f1, 2)

I haven't played regularly in several months at this point and all the balance changes are pretty wild. Going to have to be careful about what materials I reference when I find the time to pull something together again. Hammer PVE, who would have thought it? Did they ever fix the banner situation or do we no longer bother with them anymore?

banner quickness builds are fine, but they dont compare well to firebrand or herald so I dont really care about them.

The build is easy to pick up and highly effective. Always having enough adrenaline for Full Counter highly increases survivability in addition to everything the Defense traitline providies!

For open world you just kinda do whatever makes sense, rotations like this are only for instanced content.

What does the rotation look like if heal is not available to insta-fill adrenaline? Just do the rotation starting with hammer and skip the burst button?

This is a build for pve group content so condition removal is outsourced to your healer generally. In solo or open world play, no condition is actually a threat to you.

Why is bulls charge used after 1st dagger burst and also after axe5?

you need it there to maintain stacks of Attackers Insight, and putting it there still captures the important dagger skills at the end of the rotation

@@NikeonaBike I get that it's supposed to keep up AI stacks.. but you can use it at the beginning of d/a rotation and it will literally be up for all of d/a skills; using it like it's in the guide buffs 2 AA chains, dagger 3 axe 4, dagger F1 and if you are quick - hammer 2. If you use it at the beginning you buff dagger F1, dagger 3, axe 4, axe 5 and 1 AA chain.

buff uptime usually. also axe has a very high weapon range so the damage values of axe skills can vary widely

They are both very different in all game modes. You should pick the one you like based on roles in each game mode and based on the aesthetics of the class animations.

If you need CC, this is better. If you can get by without CC, GS is slightly higher DPS.

the top benchmark at the moment is 38.3. When Hammer 2 bug is fixed it will push 40k.

I dont understand why strength sigil would be good since you get might from your allies in content. I believe severance only works on bosses if you break a breakbar so that wouldnt be ideal

This build is for raids, fractals, strikes etc primarily. It isn't designed to solo Champs though im sure it could handle a few.

The best benchmark is 40k. A medium benchmark would be 38k. A low benchmark would be 36k.

first xD...unrelated. I'm not 100% sure that the bulls charge timing in the benchmark is actually the best spot for it, but I haven't been able to beat the benchmark. I believe in the bench video, Dani does the bulls charge at that spot because otherwise you lose stability if you only get it from yourself, but in real fights you'll probably have stab from other sources.

Most stability doesn't come as a byproduct of a rotation. Sure, if you are playing with an aMech, an aSpecter, a qHerald with Jalis, or a qWarrior, you will occasionally get stab from their rotations, but it's actually rather unlikely their stab will sync up exactly with your rotation, especially in real fights when something unpredictable should happen. And if you are on Sabetha in a group with a qScrapper and a Druid for instance, you cannot count on getting stab from others at all. So having your rotation make you independent from group compositions and other people in general makes a lot of sense.

its a pretty good spot for it imo. It feels weird to use PP on autos, but you get a dagger burst, 3 and 4, and then a hammer 2, hammer burst, and 3, 4 (if you're playing with lower ping than me on EU) so you get a lot of money skills in there. the only place you might get more coefficients in is when you do the 2-5-2, burst, 3 swap dagger 4,3, burst section, but as others have said you waste the AI stack there.

How beginner-friendly is this? I barely got any ascended gear (apart from jewelry and trinkets) and my interest is mostly doing Fractals, not really interested into the other content. Can I just follow the guide with exotics and then just replace whenever I have ascended items?

Very beginner friendly. The rotation takes no time at all to learn. Yes, exotics will be fine to start with.

If the whole rotation is hard to keep up with at once, you can break it into segments. Essentially dagger axe is 4, 3, burst, 2, 5 Once that feels comfortable, focus on just learning hammer, which is essentially 2, burst, 4, 3, and then 2, 5, 2. Once all of that feels natural to you individually, then you can start to apply the nuance and the specifics shown in the video.
