You can also use Minwax poly crylic to adhere light weight fiberglass and fill the weave, works great much stronger.

I have heard of modelers using polycrylic with fiberglass. Unfortunately,, that is not available to me in Taiwan. That being said, I may have an opportunity to try it on a small model while I am visiting family in the US now. Thanks again.

Just printed plan. It will be my next project for this winter. I will install on a OS GF40 petrol engine.

Nice! Will you post a build somewhere?

Try a skim coat of NitroStan spot putty, works great, easy to sand

I have a friend that uses NitroStan. I have been trying to find some to give it a try. Thanks!

Looking good. Couple of requests. Can you provide a source for the landing gear you are using? If not known, then the dimensions. Also, would love to see your process of creating the cowl.

I got the gear from my local rc shop. It measures 490mm long x 175mm tall x 32mm wide at the middle and is almost an exact fit to the plans. It is carbon fiber. The video series on building the cowl is in the editing stage now and will be a multi-part series.
