The dairy industry inflicts severe suffering on animals and poses significant health risks to humans. Cows in dairy farms endure relentless cycles of artificial insemination, separation from their calves, and physical strain from constant milk production, often resulting in chronic pain, lameness, and premature death. Calves, especially males, are commonly taken from their mothers shortly after birth, subjected to harsh confinement, and ultimately slaughtered for veal. This cycle of cruelty not only raises ethical concerns but also has detrimental health implications for humans. Consumption of dairy products has been linked to numerous health issues, including lactose intolerance, increased risk of certain cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory conditions. The hormones and antibiotics used in dairy farming further compromise human health, contributing to antibiotic resistance and hormonal imbalances. Embracing a plant-based diet eliminates animal suffering and promotes better health outcomes. Dairy products are excellent for hospitals, doctors, the pharmaceutical industry...and our "Disease-Care" system. They don't make money off of healthy people!

Thank you, science lad! Even if hormones are not added there are the naturally occurring hormones in the cow milk which are intended to grow the baby cow very quickly into a much bigger cow. Love to hear this. But I have to disagree about the beer part. Nothing quenches thirst better than a cold beer. I get her point though.

If you've ever actually been dehydrated, you would not find a beer made you feel better. This is just junkie thinking.

Question do vegans have to supplement their meals
@bonniespruin63696 ай бұрын
B12 you can supplement. You get a lot in nutritional yeast though.

Everyone, vegan or not, should supplement B12, and make sure you’re getting the rest of the vitamins and nutrients from your food

@@Nice-sm5hr Yes, this is true. Increasing evidence is that B12 is a preventative against dementias of all types. Even better than just B12 it seems a good combined B complex supplements brain health generally including as an aging brain health preventative

Not everyone is lacto intolerant like this woman. My ancestry is Swiss. I can't imagine doing without Ice cream, yogurt, kefir and aged cheeses. The same with my parents who lived healthily into their 90's and 100's.

That’s so good for 30% of the population that can handle dairy. Or you could stop and avoid the needless suffering of animals, environment and society. But you do you cause some stuff tastes good 🤪

@@MarioTheGoose Not everyone is as morally "superior" as you. These awareness campaigns seek to change the minds of the layperson and on the whole reduce societal dependence on animals products. Societal change like this doesn't mean people can't stick to their ways. We need to invert the rule vs. exception ratio away from animal-based products towards plant-based.
