Thank you Dr Youn. I have been following your skincare advice since you posted a video in your channel long time back about vit c, retinol and sunscreen. Now i never worry about skincare or what products to buy. I just trust that that's all i need😊

Dr. Youn - don't all retinoids remove the top layer of skin, and therefore require a lot of sunscreen? how do we use them (even the non-rx ones) without exposing our skin to more uv rays? seems to me that we'd have to reapply sunscreen way too often. thanks for a great presentation.

Great episode!! Will be listening again to take notes. However……I can’t believe Dr Youn didn’t talk about alcohol! Red wine vs spirits vs Budweiser beer….i thought as we age, it wreaks havoc on our skin if you drink too much. Thanks again!

Great advice and I love his advice, but autophagy doesn't happen with the typical 12~16 hour-fasting period, it takes a little longer for that process to get activated.

I have done GFCF diet for my kids and myself years ago, I have found that gluten and dairy are very addictive. In my experience you will need about one month to get used to it. GFCF really helped my kids with ADHD.

I appreciate much of the info shared on the talk and the lighthearted but caring mood. I hope you'll consider making an important edit to this video. When Dr. Youn discusses intermittent fasting, he cautions that this method of food control is not recommended for people suffering from eating disorders. Please understand that as a genetically linked mental illness that has the highest mortality rate of any metal illness, killing 1 person in the US every 52 minutes, people who suffer from this condition may not be able to distinguish themselves as vulnerable. I ask that you add a disclaimer that is stronger and more pointed than the current few words and try not to encourage intermittent fasting so wholeheartedly. There are many "Blue Zone" people who do nothing of the kind and maintain youthful appearance and physicality. We can work together to fight against this cruel disease.

Very interesting video, thank you! May I just suggest, though, that you do something about the green lighting on your set that hits your guest's face in all the wrong ways? So much of what he's describing is in scripture in God's Word. The cause and effects of health, physically, mentally and spiritually. Also note that: the ultimate "meditation" is accomplished in prayer to God through Jesus, and in carefully studying and meditating on God's Word in scripture.
@randomvintagefilm27310 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing except this guy is an atheist so what the heck does he meditate to? Himself?

Thank you doctor and thank you my beautiful lady... l am a Muslim, and in my religion we must fast thirty days of every year for 16 to18 hours . We have been doing this for 1,400 years. I am proud of the religion that commands something that is always proven by science. The commands of Islam that relate to nutrition are many, including not eating a lot of food and not drinking water suddenly, especially cold water, and also beware of excessive consumption of food. Eat baked goods and rice, and every day science and scientists come to prove what our Messenger said a long time ago

Vacuous? Ridiculous? If you think there is no bias in medicine against women’s complaints you are seriously misinformed.
