Always tell them your goal otherwise they will try to skimp out on you. Know your worth and if they can’t keep up then they’re not worth it.

Bad advice. Never, EVER be the one who says the first number. Make the company tell you what they're willing to pay. "I'm interested in hearing what you think is fair compensation for the position we've been discussing." Make them say the first number because even if you think you're setting the bar high, they might be willing to go even higher. So many people cost themselves thousands of dollars (or even tens of thousands) by saying the first number.

And this is why I won't go back to law, 20 years as a corporate Paralegal and it is just not worth it. I rather fiqure it out and be able to go on vacation uniterrupted and spend time with my family.

Eh.. I opened my daughter a high yield savings account when she was six weeks old, then a CD the following year, then decided to open her an investment account when she turned three this year. I can’t wait to see what’ll grow to in 15 years!

They guarantee a meal voucher, but when my dad got a meal voucher, it was for $12. You’d be hard-pressed to find a meal at the airport for 12 bucks.

One week later… Email: we were impressed by your interview but we regret to inform you that we have selected a different candidate for the role. Sign up for our newsletter and stay up to date for future roles: This might be a bit generous considering I didn’t bring your hopes high enough to let you down and also, this assumes you even get a rejection letter lol. The job market is brutal

It's important to be aware of how banks can potentially exploit consumers. Financial management is crucial for building wealth and achieving success. However, many people shy away from this topic, leading to future financial struggles. Additionally, understanding the terms and conditions of your bank accounts and investments is essential to avoid hidden fees and other pitfalls.

While higher risks can potentially lead to greater rewards, it's important to remember that high-value investments often require expertise and careful planning. While anyone can dream big, it's the consistent, informed actions that lead to long-term success

I am a senior citizen and I believe that no one can become a millionaire overnight, it takes years of smart not hard work, time management and the right investments. Every year you don't invest you simply fall a year behind and I say this from experience.

This are some of the many reasons why a few Neighbors at the Bel Air Area, myself included use financial planners. It is difficult to combine work and investments. It’s important to consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions. My two cents.

I think that is a brilliant idea, I tried managing my stock portfolio by myself and I lost 50% of my savings in a very short period. That prompted me to hire a financial advisor. Since then I have made up to $680K in returns.

My Honda dealer is a family friend. My family bought all of their cars from him. I think the best approach is to expect to walk out of the dealership without a car! Also before going, set a budget for yourself on how much you’re willing to pay. I’m usually at the dealership the entire day because the salesperson doesn’t want to let me walk out of there without a car but I also don’t want to leave with a car payment I’m uncomfortable with. my first car was a lease it ended up being a new Honda civic for $272/month for 3 years with $500 down. They first offered me $475 for 3 years lease with no down payment. My mom had the same car same year same lease and was paying over $400. I terminated my lease in the 2nd year with no fees and financed a new Honda civic for $332/month for 6 years with $1000 down and ended up paying it off a year early. My husband/ boyfriend was looking to buy a car. We went to Chevy because we thought it was good, but it’s not. Long story short they couldn’t give us the price we wanted so we left without a car. Later that day the salesperson called us and told us to come back. He ended up giving us the price my husband was comfortable paying with. 1 year before the finance was suppose to end the Chevy started to breakdown and my husband was looking into getting a Honda. I called up my dealer friend. Right away he had his boss with him 😂 it was a shorter negotiation because up front we told him we’ll get the car if he can match the monthly my husband was paying on his Chevy without paying extra for the remaining finance of the Chevy with $1000 down. They ended up doing it and my husband paid off his Honda 1 year early. Don’t be afraid to negotiate. Don’t be afraid to say no.
