I had lasik to correct myopia while I was living in Bangkok in 1999, I was 47. I had a very good experience, not a cookie cutter operation. Saw rings at night for a year or so, but they resolved. Here we are 22 years later, I am 69, and my eyes were just checked last month and they are still 20/20, 20/25. I do need reading glasses for very near vision now but no distance problems. It changed my life. Now I am waiting for for my sons, who inherited my myopia, to be ready for the procedure.

I think it's good he's teaching others because 1. He can't treat everyone 2. He's not immortal 3. Everyone can't afford him

How can we ask Dr. Gulani a question?

I've heard doctors say that having lasik surgery can cause problems if the person later has cataracts.
@GulaniVision3 жыл бұрын
That is incorrect. Everyone who lives long enough will develop cataracts and yes, your surgeon needs to be able to do specially designed cataract surgery for post Lasik cases.

Bottom line, do your own research. I spent a month doing so, and chose PRK. The results where outstanding.

People will argue that these injections are being given intramuscularly; however many are not aspirating the needle to ensure they are not injecting into the bloodstream
