question to Dr Baruch. with regard to Chapter 4,4 ........ WHO are representing these 24 elders who are in the heaven before the throne, who are already in the heaven before the first seal will be broken. I remember in one of your sermons about revelation you said correctly, that all the scenes which are described following one another, in consequences mixed up with "backflash and forward flash". Anyway the scene with the 24 elders are already in the heaven when John was called up. Sorry English is not my mother tongue.

I always heard chapter 4 was the Rapture but I always doubted it. For years I tried to believe it.

In verse 4 I'm confused of who the 24 elders are. Could it be the forefathers in the Old Testament? Maybe the 12 patriarchs and the 12 disciples I'm not sure with this one

We are not told. We can speculate but God knows. We are given enough by God to prepare us for what is to come, and we can ask the Holy Spirit if it is His will, to enlighten us on certain things. But if our asking is from selfish motives or ambition, He won’t. 😊🙏🏼

some thoughts Have you ever wondered why Jesus does not appear to be in Chapter 4 of the Book of Revelation? Let's look at Heb 1:3 "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being". Now, the emerald is the stone of the tribe of Judah in the breastpiece of the high priest. You will find this to be true in the KJV, not in the NIV or the NASB. However, the Jewish historical societies all agree that the emerald is the stone of the tribe of Judah. Notice that the rainbow encircles the throne. No one comes to the Father except throught the Son. Note that the rainbow is not mentioned in Chapter 5. However when the elder refers to the Lion of the tribe of Judah do you think he was looking at the rainbow? When John then looks he sees a Lamb looking as if it had been slain. Remember God the Father is represented in Chapter 4 as one sitting on the throne. The Holy Spirit is represented as seven lamps before the throne. Do you think that Jesus is represented by the rainbow encircling the throne?
