What I find interesting is that most people who are against big pharma self medicate using OTC vitamins, supplements, and alternative medicines. What they don't know is that most of the companies that produce those items are also owned by big pharma. Though there is no regulation or mandatory testing on most OTC meds so big pharma is actually making more profit from selling you that stuff since it is much cheaper to produce, yet most of you think you are outsmarting big pharma... lol...

Keep up the good work Dr. Berg! My husband was diagnosed with high blood sugar and high blood pressure,and he was not overweight he just ate a lot of carbs and sugar. He told his doctor he was going to make diet and lifestyle changes to fight his illness. The doctor told him she didn't believe he could do it and wrote him 2 prescriptions. He didn't fill the prescriptions, instead he followed everything to do on your channel, with diet, and he stepped up his exercise. When he went back in 2 months , all tests were negative, clear. The doctor told him he could get off his meds,and he told her he never took them. No congrats from her either , he changed his doctor after that checkup.👍.

Later I removed anything with any carbohydrates like buckwheat or carrots and health improved even more. I did 48h fasts with water and salt. And a lot of determination, no excuses, zero tolerance. Anything with sugar considered as straight up poison.

@@belisimatony3229 I started treating fatty liver about 1 month before I went 0 sugar, because I had so many health issues and symptoms matched fatty liver. I used dr. Bergs fatty liver Kale+Kephyr shake. Later on I dropped it because the Kale started causing joint and back pains. However in short term it helped me heal my liver so I could start processing healthy pure meat and animal fat which really improved my health by a huge amount down the line. Dr. Berg has great advice for all kinds of health issues and doesn't get stuck to extremes. I have decided to move to carnivore only because of my personal health improvements and because it works for me.
