I had the privilege to see Rev Clark when he ran revivals in Seattle in the early 80's and to this day he's the best preacher I've EVER heard. I still try to get my hands on as many of his sermons as possible. Without doubt he was the "Prince of Preachers"

My husband is not a preacher and I didn't say he was a preacher, I said he didn't like that style of preaching. I happen to believe most preachers preach the way God gives it to them. I'm partial to this style because that's what I grew up with it. My husband did not. Nevertheless if you exegete the scriptures properly, the style really doesn't matter, as long as the preacher is speaking the TRUTH

Dr. C. A. W. Clark more than any other preacher I have heard gives you the sense that he was truly overcome with the spirit. He starts off so slow and restrained, but he builds, the rhythm never misses a beatt with the increase in pace and movement up in pitch. His close is all-powerful, you don't believe he has another octave that he can get up to considering where he started but his reaches those lofty height and there is nothing you can do but start shouting because you feel like you in glory up there with him.

Well he is correct in his statement!!! Many people talk about people being in or going to heaven, but with the exception of those who were caught up in the rapture at the time of Jesus' death on the cross...everyone else who is dead is still dead until that day when He comes back again on a cloud and the dead in Christ shall rise and those who remain will be caught up in the air to meet Him!!!!! I am sure you have heard this before if you are in a Bible preaching and believing church!!!!!

Some people do not like this style of preaching. My husband being one of them. I do like it though. 10 preachers can take the same verse and it can be preached 10 different ways. There is something out there to accommodate everyone's taste. It's the same with anything in life, including gospel music. One particular song may not speak to me as it does another person but does that make it bad? No! Does it make me or anyone else evil because we don't like it? No!
