People think the way they do about "druggies" (aka: anyone who uses any substance, even prescribed) BECAUSE of the very successful propaganda birthed from the war on drugs AND they have weaponized peoples emotions surrounding "the poor underdogs" or most commonly, "the kids"... I have pain 24/7/365 and was doing fine, functioning and a productive member of society under a drs care with high dose opioids for 2 decades and was just taken off of all of it and then dropped by my Dr because of what they've done. I have never been so terrified and broken in all my life, I was literally left to die, and it almost killed me until I had to reassess my thought process on certain chemicals that made me fight against them, and I realized it was the propaganda. So I reshaped my thinking on the matter and I'm better for it.

NE OHIO is Opioid hysteria land !! A dystopian hellscape 🔥 long story… but I don’t know how much longer i can hang by a thread, my brain is so fucked up from being tortured 6 yrs & counting.. Our Cartel Government is intentionally killing us off !!

Only real scientist I know of, to base his knowledge on real scientific DATA. others claim to have data on this topic but I still cant find anyone else as dedicated to his work as Dr. Hart . 20- 30 yrs maybe more (correct me if Im wrong) studying this issue and he gets hated on so much I bet they try to silence him on his work but he is so brave they dont scare him at all, maybe just make him angry and provoke him to do more interviews and give more talks to spead the real information. Salute to him.

ive been in a wheelchair for 20 years and i use drugs medicinally for pain for my mental state for basically all my woes in this world and i have never become addicted to any of them. i use them as medicine to treat an ailment and thats all they are for in my opinion. yeah you can get high become altered as doc says lol but its not only the high that most people use drugs for anymore. its to escape awhile or to numb a burden in their minds or maybe like myself use the drugs in a way to where i can continue to function in my daily lifestyle. i am not saying drugs are cool because i think they are cool i am saying drugs are there so when shit aint cool you have an outlet to help make shit cool again.

I've read his books and agree with many of his ideas. However, to equate heroin with psychedelics or weed, or even alcohol is kind of disingenuous. You are much more likely to OD on heroin than say alcohol, due to both the chemistry of the drug and the route of administration. Even if you smoke it, rather IV the OD risk is still much higher than most other drugs. And to comment on fentanyl. He talks as if people who use fentanyl and heroin are health professionals on average. Obviously, him being a user, he has to defend his own use, or else it would cause cognitive dissonance. I don't think people should go to prison for using, also don't think it should be available the same way as alcohol or pot. Because people are traumatized and irresponsible, that's why. It's not just about "freedom". Again, I just don't think most people at this stage are responsible enough, just like with guns. Guns don't kill people, people do. Yet, people with guns kill many people, mostly in their own home. Heroin should be available with the assistance of professionals, not just for anyone who wants to get high. That's my take.

The dose makes the poison, not the class of drug or route of administration. If you are right about heroin being “easier” to OD on, that’s a consequence of unpredictable purity percentage of the drug. If everyone knew what purity their drug was, then no drug would be more dangerous than any other. It all comes down to dose. Alcohol is regulated and you know what you’re getting when you buy a bottle. You are unaware when u buy H off the street. Heroin, inherently, isn’t “easier” to OD on.

I respect your comment, but one think I would like to mention when you said people are traumatized/irresponsible to use drugs if freely available, that can come with education and open awareness. People who are in bad socioeconomic or mental health situation, should know that they need to fix their life's situation, to then be able to experiment with drugs recreationally. And this is also the responsibility of the state too, not only the individual. With education, people would less likely be irresponsible by understanding how to use drugs with the right mind (set/setting), and making sure that you have other things in life to look forward to. Drugs should simply be a compliment to life in that line of thinking. The most important is this that we're doing: having respect for each other's opinion and engaging in an honest discussion. Much love!

No what's dangerous is society refusing to accept drug use will happen and therefore keeping prohibition in place making it extremely unsafe and expensive for people to use

Drug addiction doesn’t even come from drugs, it’s a symptom of other mental health issues. The whole “he was completely happy and normal and then X drug ruined his life” narrative you see all the time is a complete crock of shit. Every single addict is self medicating and got carried away.
