The podcast doesn’t prepare you for the images. But the show doesn’t prepare you for how much pain and betrayal the patients went through and are still going through. And both are so raw and unfiltered it’s truly heartbreaking

The confrontation with the chief of surgery, at 5:00 is my favorite. He was the only person brave enough to stand up to Duntsch, face to face. Most of the time, Duntsch's arrogance and aggression let him steamroller over everyone who got in his way.

Every single one of those hospital incidents should have been written up. When a doc talked to me like that and blew off patient care like he did, I HAVE written docs up for that. This never would have happened at the facility I worked at. Never. I have gotten one physician fired and I would do it again if I had to. Patient care comes before anyone’s ego.

What I don't understand is why do the people telling the story or even submitting an official complaint against him missed mentioning or suggesting that His surgery School screwed him over. I have watched uptil 3rd episode and it shows that he hasn't performed a single surgery correctly. ---------------------------------------------------------------- in the span of the last year I've had struggling experience with such specimens some in lower roles and some in higher roles in a software development environment. In the software development medium, sociopathic leadership who are also snake-oil-salesmen are extremely detrimental to the project(s) and the careers of the capable people working with them, because they target them from the beginning and want them out ASAP to avoid discovery. Also time is on their side in such industries. So now I understand, than you for the comments below.
