I love listening to interviews with Dr Gross. He is clearly so passionate about what he does. From memory (Mecca Cosmetica video) he is making a cleansing product for us here in Australia as water is quite different and it make a difference as to how his products work.

Best explanation of rosacea I’ve ever heard, I could never wrap my brain around it until now. Can we get a beautiful concise message about seborrhea like that next time? Always feeling left out of the conversation but love love that you always talk about barrier function. Thanks!!!

I have been using the universal peel pads for a few years now but I have become obsessed with Dr Gross more recently after watching his webinar on acne. I learned so much! I ordered his pore perfecting serum specifically for my hormonal acne and it cleared up all the acne on my chin and jawline in 3 DAYS! it worked better than the clindamycin that I’ve been using. Just phenomenal.

Yes! Please have him talk on eye circles! Every derm and esthetician I’ve heard speak on this topic basically says, “You’re screwed,” in a more professional way. They say eye serums, creams can help with wrinkles, but if you want to get rid of circles, you need filler period.

I would love to hear his thoughts on the "medical grade skincare" terminology. Since his products are sold in stores, his brand doesn't meet the definition- yet he's an ACTUAL dermatologist. I'd have more trust in his brand over a brand backed by a orthopedic or plastic surgeon. I'm sooo curious on his thoughts (yours too!) Thanks for bringing us this interview Caroline 🙌🏻

Medical grade doesn’t exist legally. No doctor I trust uses that term on their products.

this makes me very intrigued in wanting to try a peel - but I'm also scared of them (i think the word peel, more than anything), I have true combo skin (?) with surface dryness but also full-on oil slick by end of day and easily inflamed red skin to point of rawness for a few days with ingredient reactions and or fragrance. However, the gentle ones sound like something my skin can handle since I have learned (and my skin has!) to love a good AHA blend followed by good moisture with ceramides and peptides. Thank you for posting this - I learned something new from the good Doc and you of course as always!

Is it safe to stay using tretinoin nightly long term? I'm 24, used epiduo for 4 years due to mild acne (no big pustules, v small but seemingly hundreds of tiny closed comedones which I couldn't get under control), switched to treclin for the last 5 months because my skin had a flare up, doc says to go back next month (because of the antibiotic) and I'll go back to epiduo/differin now that my skin is under control. Should I be using this nightly for the foreseeable, or is there a chance I could wean off it eventually with no affect to the acne? Just wondering as skin doesn't have an infinite number of cycles to go through, want to make sure it's safe to be on long term!

Love Dr Gross and his glyco peels. Is there a difference between the US version vs the UK version? I know some products that can’t be sold in the EU like the Drunk Elephant babyfacial that I stock up in when in the US. Is it better to stock up with Dr Gross’s products when in the U.S. because their efficacy may be better than the UK? Or are the formulas the same?

guys and Caroline (if you see this) I need your help: my skin is peeling for about 5 weeks now! but only around my mouth and around my hairline and a bit on my chin. in march I've got a micro needling. my skin healed perfectly after a week. then I've tried the Paulas choice retinol 1 % booster as my first step after toning (I know, was a mistake). after a few days my skin started to peel. but not crazy. but the thing is, it won't stop! I already use cicaplast b5 from la Roche posay...to help with the irritation. Is this normal at this point ? my skin feels so tight and dry.

You’ve aggravated your skin barrier. You need gentle cleanser me and ceramide based creams. Must and reapply through the day. Dermalogica Barrier Repair is good. X
