Thank you for presenting this so very interesting interview. Dr. Lisle is amazing. He has such an amazing way of explain deeply felt concepts that allow you to understand and follow every word he is saying and relate it to your own being.

Dillion, once again you have hosted an excellent interview. You don't interrupt and your questions are insightful as well as seeking. I am baffled by the internal audience. The idea of external feedback supplying our esteem was well defined for me. Stumbling self surprises me... I totally get what that feels like at the point where one thinks "I've got this," only to accept the food item that is not in my best interest. Maybe and more recently that is when the moral voice for me has become more forgiving. Thank you.

Wow, this came just at the right time for me. My "committee" has been really loud for most of my life, but I never have heard anyone talk about it. This video will help me shut them up a little bit. Thanks very much!

I'm reading a book called, "Quiet, The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking." I know that we're all more or less both, but it becomes more obvious, who is who(m?)... when they are interviewed together. And BTW.... one is not 'better' than the other. I've heard Doug Lisle talk about the ego trap, and how it comes into play with many of us who are fighting the pleasure trap all the time. Very interesting. I seldom go a whole month adhering to my plan to avoid the pleasure trap. My plan is wfpb, no sos. I've been there with no sense that I wouldn't stay there, buuut, here I am. I want it, and many people have told me that the more I set the plan, and work toward it, even if I have a moment that isn't on plan, the more success I'll have, and the closer I'll get back to being there full time. Some people say, of course, to stop trying. I chose the former. I love your interviews. You're really good at it... You ask a few simple questions and let them talk. Very informative.

Great interview Dillion! We do need to enjoy the journey and stop beating ourselves up when we slip. We should focus on our health and the weight loss will come. Dr. Doug Lisle broke down when talking about Dr. Jen Howk at the UWL conference in Las Vegas. He really gives her credit for the work and research that will contribute to their new book. Dillion, you deserve credit for getting these awesome interviews and for the all the work, recipes, and questions you continue to answer for the wfpb world! Keep up the good work!

This explanation is great. Thanks, but I am always disappointed by the incredibly short directive of what to do to get it right, at the end. I need more of that please

Thanks for this video, sir! I listened to one of your oldies but goodies, Dr. Lisle, the presentation about the pleasure trap: the chicken, the stretch receptors and the skinny people that say others don't have discipline! It's very good and you are funny!

Haha you’ll ever quit sugar. Oh hush go to whataburger. It’s not that hard just stop eating processed food like those Triscuits you love. All statements from my family 😖who needs an internal audience.
