Well a white artist will sell more albums than black artists, and that's because this is a white country. Eminem wouldn't have had the same success if he was black it's evident. So of course Dre didn't care about his color he's not as stupid as his coworkers. His decision was not anti racist it was greedy idiot.

It’s not racist to tell Dre not to work with Eminem, even if the reason is because of skin color. There was real money involved, a label on the line, they were telling him not to work with Em because it had never been done before, people just didn’t know. Now Kudos to Dre for listening to his gut.

@@homie-da-clown7520 No, a lot of them shunned Em for being white and that alone. Those people were racists in the wrong. Can't fight racism with racism, I would hate to be shut out of a great opportunity simply because I'm black especially after everything I been through, Em had to struggle to get that position and damn near was out of money getting to the Rap Olympics 98 where Interscope A&Rs found him to begin with and asked for his tape, he gave it to them, Jimmy played it and then told Dre to listen to that tape and Dre said 'find him, now!' and then Dre got the backlash when others in his circle around him knew he was white and tried talking him out of signing Em. Dre followed his fur and worked with Em and they didn't waste any time, he was hungry to blow up and Dre was hungry to make his label Aftermath a success since he had no successful artists or releases on it since starting it in 96 after leaving Death Row
