@@XavierKatzone Actually in this case, it's more like convergent evolution. The common ancestor of chameleons and lorises likely didn't walk like that, meaning each taxon evolved it independently.

I wish the UN would do something serious about the illegal pet trade...there are species whose threatened and endangered status can be directly liked to the trade. In other cases it exacerbates habitat loss and hunting. It is selfish to obtain an exotic pet.
