tleeg74 He is actually not a dick IRL. If you start doing research and reading specifically why people in the media say he’s a dick when he gets down to it it’s really nothing. He had a few quirks and some people felt he was difficult to work with. One of them being he had his assistant give him chocolate at certain times when he was acting immediately when he felt he needed chocolate which some people kind of laughed at onset and they found it to be like a drama king type thing to do. The other thing was he was sometimes emotionally needy but I wouldn’t really say he’s a dick because of that. But the emotional neediness did put off some of the directors. I wouldn’t say that makes him a bona fide dick though. I think really the media blew it out of control because I think what they really hate about him is how he ended up losing one of the companies a lot of money because he quit halfway through his contract and they had already shot a lot of the film but he also lost all of his money to because that meant he was working all that time for free because he didn’t get any money from it. The studio and he made peace with it though when they begin production with cat in the hat. But that really ruined his reputation and that is why he’s called a dick. I can see how it would put a lot of people off and how Innoway I guess it was inconsiderate of himI guess it depends on how you look at it in one sense it could be viewed as selfish because the studio last money and the people that were working at the studio last money due to Mike Myers personal preference with the script. So in that sense it could be selfish, but we don’t really know why he disagreed with the script maybe it was against some thing he Morley stood for him he just couldn’t present it in that way because of it going against his beliefs we’ll never know. That’s a lot of money as well because he didn’t get paid for the work he had done so far with that canceled production and he didn’t get the money back after.
