If anybody thinks the band look rough on the promo films, you should have seen them live. Rough, ready and one of the best bands of all time. If Lee was still with us he would have put Rag 'n' Bone man in the shade with his fantastic voice and "mouthie" playing. Once a fan of Dr Feelgood, you'll always Feelgood.

I bought the single of this track on 45 rpm vinyl in 1978 - on brown vimyl ! Great days pre -CD and imternet streamimg. Also - the band were a great alternative to the likes of Genesis et al and all the disco Donna Summer/John Travolta/Bee Gees stuff back then. Pure nostalgia - don't you just love it ! It's great, too, that today's generation can appreciate this great British Rhythm 'n' Blues band via internet platforms like KZbin - who are probably still very underrated.

I love Wilko, seen him a number of times, even when he played with the blockheads. His sound is unique and the early Feelgood recordings have an individual sound that wasn't repeated. However Gypie gave them a more cohesive, rounded and complete sound which is what helped give them their only top 10 single. It was however Wilko's guitar playing on their no.1 album stupidity, so you pays your money, you takes your choice. Whoever played guitar, their sound was great.
