On June 09, Professor Dr. Filip Ivanovic joined the Dionysius Circle to discuss his recent book, Desiring the Beautiful: The Erotic-Aesthetic Dimension of Deification in Dionysius the Areopagite and Maximus the Confessor. Rev. Dr. Bogdan G. Bucur describes the book as a "masterful delineation of the theological 'heart' of the Dionysian and Maximian writings - love, beauty, deification."
