That's all you got? Brother, that's all you need. I truly loved this video. Everything was perfect, from the snow (winter is my favorite season), to the piano blues (I'm an amateur jazz pianist), to watching you do chores while smoking a pipe (truly badass). And then, the shift to the indoor scene, close up on your face, with your stern and serious scowl (you look like a boxer or MMA fighter about to execute your opponent in the ring)! Dr Grabow should hire you to be their spokesperson. Dr Grabow pipes are badass pipes, for badass pipe smokers! Thanks for the upload. I know it's 4 years old, but I just discovered your channel and was quite impressed. I'll subscribe.

I've been smoking my Cardinal for more than 25 years now. Still works just fine and I see no need to upgrade or get a new one. Still get my butter rum tobacco and filters from the same little shop I've gone to since I got the pipe, too.

Smaller Grabows and Willards are great pipes for outdoor chores! I confess .....yes, I'm a clincher! Looks like Willards ran from 1963 to 75. I have found a couple in the antique stores that I check in on. A few years ago you could by a whole pipe stand full of old pipes for a song, $10 to $20 bucks??? Willard seems to have been another drug store briar back in the day.

​@@mrscripto8286 I really miss the small, family owned, corner drug stores we had back in the day. Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS killed them off. The last one in my town closed its doors in 1995.

Dr. grabow was the first brand of pipe I started with along with the missouri meershaum... Unfortunatly the last one I bought...A collectors choice...Wasnt made very well. The metal part of the bit came out of the bit and even after tryin to glue it back in with gorilla glue... It lasted only a month before commin loose again. Aint too sure I wanna buy anymore now although I still have some of the older ones I bought back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

We've been pretty lucky here in n e Illinois along the shores of Lake Michigan. I'm about 40 miles north of Chicago and really haven't had much snow since early November. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and get blasted by a blizzard or another polar vortex. Only time will tell! In the meantime I have a full cellar (pipe tobacco that is) and will be ready for whatever Mother Nature sends us. I will be wearing boots! 🌨❄️

Enjoy it while you can! You're due for some heavy snow at some point, but it's possible that you'll have a mild winter. I remember about 8 years ago we managed to get through an entire winter with barely any snow.

I wish I could relate to this chore but here in Georgia people are panicking in the streets if we get 2 inches of snow over a one week period. All jokes aside I feel the same about time like you said. I love a Saturday when I can smoke a pipe for and hour but Monday- Friday it needs to be something I can puff and forget and possibly not clean lol do you ever smoke a pipe at your 9-5 job?

I have a Savinelli Oceano, which is a great pipe. But in all honesty, this Grabow smokes just as well. There's a time and a place for both, but the Grabow ends up getting the most use.
