That part right there. That's some truth. My former supervisor (older white guy) brought that up in a conversation. He literally believes that it must've been aliens that did it since they didn't have machines that could build like that. Like damn, man, we were the damn machines. You saw what we built in this country....

Its true. I have seen such arguments like the Great Zimbabwe monuments which were probably built around the 12th or 13th century were built by portuguese who only stepped into that part of africa around the 16th century. Just because they did not want to give credit to the local Monomotapa Kingdom

I hate it. It almost always comes with the hint of either condescension or outright insult where none is warranted. And when you call people out on it, they go all wide-eyed innocent, like "What do you mean? Now you're just looking for a reason to be upset." For what it's worth, I'm a black, male (HAH) retired Army officer, and got tired of people saying "soldiers and FEMALE soldiers" with the same negative connotations attached. Truly ridiculous when some of my 'female soldiers' could smoke anybody else in the unit, no questions asked. I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by black men and women of great character (missing my grandparents especially right now) who supported each other. It can be done.
