@BruinPhD20092 жыл бұрын
I hate it. It almost always comes with the hint of either condescension or outright insult where none is warranted. And when you call people out on it, they go all wide-eyed innocent, like "What do you mean? Now you're just looking for a reason to be upset." For what it's worth, I'm a black, male (HAH) retired Army officer, and got tired of people saying "soldiers and FEMALE soldiers" with the same negative connotations attached. Truly ridiculous when some of my 'female soldiers' could smoke anybody else in the unit, no questions asked. I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by black men and women of great character (missing my grandparents especially right now) who supported each other. It can be done.
