I actually love how Doofenshmirtz had the worst birthdays as a kid and he spent every year trying to make sure that Vanessa’s birthdays weren’t forgotten by his family. It makes me think about how some times we get upset with our parents but they’re doing things that their parents never did for them. My dad’s parents never helped him with homework as a kid, and my dad used to check our homework all the time. I hated having to redo the problems, but he was just doing it because he knew he would never have gotten that kind of help.
