Dr. Helene M. Langevin Introduces the Role of NCCIH

Dr. Helene M. Langevin, director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, explains the Center’s role as the federal government’s lead agency for complementary and integrative health. She describes NCCIH’s research on mind and body approaches, natural products, and nondrug approaches for pain management. Dr. Langevin concludes by describing her own longstanding interest in the field of complementary and integrative health research.
