Just wondering what the success rate is like with these surgeries? When you're rearranging the pelvis does it not predispose the dog to then get the equivalent of SIJ, lower back or pubic symphysis issues? Conservative management vs surgery in terms of long term outcomes? Sorry for the questions. My pub is scheduled to go under on Tuesday and I can't help but feel it's a pretty hardcore surgery to put a young lad through

did your pup have the surgery? how was the recovery? Our 6 month old lab puppy has been diagnosed with dbl hip dys. and we are considering the DPO procedure. Thanks for any advice.
