Dr Jason Leong, you can console your mum that you haven't really stopped being a doctor because you're still dispensing medicine - Laughter (the Best Medicine).

I'm a younger American and I enjoyed seeing Dr. Jason Leong's stand-up on KZbin. I also really enjoyed George Carlin's stand-up for sure, and it is definitely still relevant to today, but his stand-up was very "colorful". He had to have the right audience to make those jokes, and have them land, without people booing, getting offended, walking out, etc... If you look at Comedians like Bill Burr today, they can have a seriously hard time with modern audiences freezing up and leaving them in complete silence. I think that you can only mock concepts or people that the majority of viewers feel the same about, and are comfortable laughing at. I think the most timeless forms of comedy, are storytelling comedy from your own life experience, and more lightly mocking crazy things you find in the news, without being too incendiary, especially if you can put the idea in the minds of the audience and let them reach the conclusion themselves. People seem less comfortable laughing at groups, movements, or concepts today, because they feel like society really needs progress and new ideas, not more of the same practices that have already demonstrably failed. For instance, obesity in America has skyrocketed despite Fat shaming being common and popular for decades, therefore the fat shaming hasn't produced any results and people are more opposed to it instead of continuing to support and laugh at it. Thanks for the video and I wish you the best.

I watched stand up comedy show i think he was great but at time to time hes gone too far i remember a scene where he talked of Sarah getting a surgery for appendicitis n he mocked her for not thanking the drs on facebook but Jesus and perhaps she should have added a ty note to the doctors but Dr Jadon Leung to me his humour immediately felt flat when he insulted and mocked Jesus and her prayers of thankfulness to him adding salt to injury he went on yo mock Jesus holes in his hands therefore not able to perform any surgery and mocked Sarah that he hopes next time shes ill hope she dies without medical help, immediately the joke felt flat and it was pure insult and mockery of christianity and her beliefs he did that show in Malaysia imagine would he dare make such jokes about the prophet Mohamed? No he would never do so in the slightest form as he knew how dangerous the consequences would be. So please i do enjoy your stand up shows but many times you have crossed the line and made mockery of peoples sensitive beliefs refrain from hurting any religious figure and refrain from hurting the sentiments of some people, youre a great stand up commedian but you have crossed the line many times, its just my sincere advise
