Naw, the bubble tea would have been totally Simu's idea and it's definitely not his first time in a segment where he had bubble tea. Jimmy O Yang would easily have come up with the dim sum idea though it could have been Simu too. Jimmy O Yang does a KZbin cooking channel so he's always helping people understand Asian food. I think the best thing that Jimmy Kimmel can do is to let his guest hosts do their thing. And here's a great example of the guest host expressing himself.

This was an amazing Asian fusion. I know bringing it up would bring up tension for Jimmy, but I want to know what it was like to work with Marc Wahlberg knowing what he did to those Asian men and then using the businesses Simu mentioned to allow that violent hate crime to be expunged from his record. It would be nice to see two humbly successful Asian actors talk about Asian hate within their circles. I know for me, I refuse to watch anything Marc Wahlberg makes. He nearly blinded a man because of the color of his skin, and because we are "model minorities," we're supposed to forgive that.
