There are a lot of doctors with a passion. Insurance is a tricky thing and doesnt really pay for wellness, they pay for sickness. I had my own practice for 5 years. DPC...monthly payment $95..come in as much as you like. No insurance. A lot of it was me and my personal healing ( not all black MDs come from middle and upper class families). A lot of it was people thinking insurance was better than someone focused on you and your wellness. Folks would just stop paying me. Now working in a place where I serve the underserved and hope to try to bring them some wellness. Im hoping to get heart and business mind together. Its a challenge. More than anything I want US to heal so we can be healthy.

@@NSoutherland_WellnessMD As a physician recruiter and someone who managed locums (very expensive temporary and traveling doctors) I agree. I saw them and actually all of us (worked in two large hospital systems) become non-stop demoralized and also constantly angry by toxic, non-innovative and greedy administration and executives. Healthcare reform is very very badly needed.

I'm in my early 40s so I'm mindful and want to pass the message to my younger folks. Food with a lot sodium contributes to high blood pressure. the max a day is 1000 mg, and unfortunately, a lot of us go over the mark. This is why you also see people suffer from strokes and heart attacks. You can't overdo eating fried foods. There are apps you can download to measure your sodium imtake.

It’s almost like he wants to be the good guy but wants to get paid as well. The American Heart Association has a lot of information on the website that if you do more research, the tips they give you actually aren’t helpful. It’s almost like they’re trying to keep you in this, so that money continues to come in. Do you research people.. Charlemagne you do not have to be on that track forever, if you change your diet, you would be amazed what drugs you would probably stop taking.. hope y’all stay safe out here💖
