When I was vegan for a year my health declined so much, I was so weak, had awful brain fog, I was so pale, and my anemia was at its worst. I couldn’t focus properly on anything. Now being carnivore I feel the healthiest I’ve ever been. My brain fog, anxiety and depression have all decreased massively! I have more focus, energy and most importantly a peace of mind ☺️ I could tell a difference one day in! I’m so grateful to have come across this lifestyle. I wanted to also mention, I had awful joint pain, along with other aches and pain’s since my younger years and the pain since being on this diet has definitely improved.

I did the carnivore diet a few years ago for 12 weeks and loved it. Then my doc scared me by saying that this way of eating is dangerous! So I stopped. I’m a farmer so I eat what I grow. I’ve gained weight in the last few years and started feeling aches and little pains in my joints. This has never happened before. I was reminded that as a kid I ate what my dad hunted, fished, and some veggies from the garden. But more meat for sure. I’ve had no health problems and felt great! Now I’m 60. Fortunately I’ve had good health until the aches started recently and feeling constantly bloated even having bouts of gripping in my stomach. And low energy ( which I’ve never experienced). I checked out Dr. Berry’s videos along with other carnivore Docs. I’ve started back on the carnivore diet starting January 2024. Thankfully no carb withdrawal systems. No more bloat. Energy restored 💚 I’m going to keep this to myself until I’ve been doing this for 90 days. Here’s why. My son and his body builder wife just went crazy that I may be hurting myself. You need carbs mom! So I just said ok. I’m coming from a Naturopathic background ( which led to years of being vegan). I’m really happy there are many doctors who have saved lives with this diet. I’m ALL IN💚 Thank you for spreading this message!
@tracimiller370210 ай бұрын
Look up some videos, from medical doctors, that detail how meat is a complete food and you don't need carbs, so that you can save them and send to your son & daughter in law when you eventually do tell them you've been eating this way for 90 days. It's so much easier than trying to convince family that you're feeling better and meat is the reason.
@hollybishop4849 ай бұрын
Here's something that helped me when my mom started on the same lecture. Most fruits and vegetables that we eat today are NOT the same as our ancestors. Even a simple apple has been genetically engineered to be sweeter and bigger. Bananas? Not the same. Carrots? They are naturally purple. We have played with and our fruits and veggies so much that it isn't the same as our ancestors grew up on.

Yay! I’m on day 7 and I already feel my life changing. It’s too soon to cry, but chronic inflammation, headaches, insomnia, skin hives/issues, hormonal and fertility issues, chronic fatigue for years and I’m already feeling energy I didn’t think existed in my body anymore. Diagnosed with compound MTHFr genetic mutation after my 7th baby loss in 2022. It’s been a year and a half of strict no dairy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol or wheat and my body was able to stabilize to some degree but unable to rid me of all the effects of chronic inflammation. Lots of salads, wraps, vegetarian and vegan stints and though I adore veggie life, I can see from this stark difference now that my body hated it. After my last baby’s death this summer (my 8th), I decided to give up all grains. Since then I’ve lost 12 pounds in 5 months but still with chronic bloating, exhaustion and headaches. I found carnivore at the end of the year, did a whole bunch of research and made the switch Jan 1st. I haven’t had to take an ibuprofen/tylenol this whole week. I’m getting 8 hours sleep. I self-motivated a workout yesterday and chores today! No bloating. I’m still feeling some detoxing symptoms, but I can tell it’s just that. I’ve been trapped in my body for years and I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Finally! Thank you guys for sharing everything you do! I’m thinking about documenting my own journey in this because it really has been such a bizarrely, amazing experience so far.

My friends now understand that I'm not trying to be trendy, I'm simply trying to function well and be happy. Strict carnivore for me works. I bounce with energy and am always happy. There is no more being emotionally unbalanced. I started keto 6yrs ago. Went on to ketovore and now I'm finally carnivore. It may not be for everyone. But it is the place for me. I am in my second week of Costco carnivore, so I’m in. Did you know that If you combine this knowledge with that of Allan Savory’s proven use of intelligently herded livestock, meat can save our environment and make us all healthy. But as with the diet the cattle management system must be done correctly. If we continue to use the feed lot system we are screwed. Plus grass fed and grass finished meat has a better nutrient profile. We need to bring back the range. Yippie I o cowboy. We should be running herds from Canada to Mexico just like the buffalo used to roam. A great jobs program too , thousands of cowboys and horses yes that would be fantastic.

60 pounds down since August 2023. I attribute most of it to intermittent fasting, because I haven’t gone full on carnivore, but I’m very confident that once I get where I need to be weight wise, carnivore will be the road forward that keeps me healthy for life and never lets me get back to the 400 pounds that made me decide that change must happen NOW. The bug I've had since boxing day might be part of that, though. Just think of it as withdrawal as Dr Berry says, folks, rather than "Something Flu", as that is what's going on. I started carnivore because I was recently diagnosed as pre diabetic and am 5’11 and 270 lbs. I’m a wounded combat veteran and single father of two, and I was always athletic and lean up until I retired 7 years ago. I gained weight like crazy with the inactivity and meds the VA put me on. I give that background to say this. I’ve only been doing carnivore for 5 days. 5. Days. And my blood glucose has gone from 128 to 65. I am in moderate ketosis (I’m sitting at .8 w/ ketones level). I’ve lost three and a half pounds. Less than a WEEK, and I’m out of pre diabetic range. Y’all don’t have to believe me, but I’m just trying to help. Especially if you’re a fellow combat vet (but I love ya’ even if you aren’t), because I know firsthand how much my community is struggling. Give it a try. It’s tough at first (I’m still going through it), but I’m seeing positive results less than a week in.

I've been over 90 days and when I stray I can feel it. Bloating kicks in with 20 minutes! I have IBS and I might stay for a bite here and there, but never a meal.

I started Carnivore 1-1-24. I was mostly Keto for the last 30 years with 4 months of Carnivore last winter. I am committed now to sticking with this program for at least 90 days! Thank you for this post!

I'm in! (I'm on day 192 of my carnivore journey but want to get really serious for the next 90 days! Let's do this! )

Given I've been carnivore for 17+ months I think I can handle the next 90 days as well. 🙂 At age 66 my waist-to-height and BMI have been excellent and stable. My A1C keeps dropping. My triglycerides are at 65 and my is HDL 78. My BP is down to a regular 115/60 (from 135/75). And yes, I lost weight, though I've basically stopped weighing myself because I just check whether my "tight" pants till fit. They do.

I'm 63 and I thank God for coming across Dr Berry PHD. I'm angry at the fact my parents and myself were duped and we ate also fed all the foods that basically are "killing us softly" then fed to all of our kids. I'm debating to get a heart ablasion for p- afib because I'm hoping this diet change and adopted lifestyle will change the need to do that.

I was duped also… you’re not alone.

I have afib, too. I’m hoping this way of eating will address and God-willing, will reverse this condition.

I'm 32, 73kg, I'm in 15 days in, already lost 2cm waist size and 1,5kg, plus the energy is awesome. I'm in for 90 days !!!

Thank you both for continuing to get the word out! I’m committing to 90 days. I’ve been on/off carnivore for several years now but I’m not sure that I’ve ever fully been carnivore for 90 days straight. I always feel good on carnivore but I don’t instantly lose weight so I get discouraged and go back to the bullshit, knowing that it doesn’t make me feel my best… so much about eating is mental/emotional.

Saaaaame!! Or I get embarassed explaining it when I'm eating socially and end up back on SAD. I'm six weeks in and determined to stick to it this time for the full 90 days and then some. Focusing on all the benefits beyond weight-loss to keep me motivated this time. Plus bingeing great KZbin videos 😊

Hi... don't be discouraged. It was the same for me. When people are losing 20lbs a month and a I was strict and only losing 2lbs a month,, highly discouraging. I was so confused....believe me. However, I' ve learned that slow result was due to my body getting healed by carnivore and the weightloss follows after the healing. My body was damaged by being vegetarion for a over 12 years. Lost approx 58lbs and still need to lose 60 more but I know it will happen. It will happen for you too 🎉🎉

Please do not swear. That was not necessary. You can tell the story about your life and your experience with carnivore without cursing. I did not appreciate that so I won't read any further. Take it like an adult please

When I started, cold turkey, it was definitely quite uncomfortable. I couldn’t hardly walk across the floor because of over the top weakness and I’m a type A personality so always busy. Took near two weeks of stomach aches and zero energy but stayed with it and now on the other side. Energy returning and no stomach aches. Positive thinking now!
