This is crystal clear that Safricans or Africans rather we are gifted and have multiple talents to run the Affairs of our country on our own, only if we can discipline ourselves from stealing and all manner of shenanigans, i always have a vehement argument with Africans who think that white people are wiser than Africans, the only thing that they outsmart us with, is that they were more privelleged for the longest of time while we on the other hand were suppressed and opressed in all angles and Avenues, so in other words we are brain damaged till today and it'll take more than a century to get the seriously downtrodden back on our feet as fully fledged human beings, the atrocities done to us Safricans is a massive one.

Their stories also give an ordinary child from Soweto, Galeshewe, Umlazi, etc. It's possible to contribute to this incredible country. Mainstream media always paints these Black leaders in a bad light. We are not saying they are perfect, but there's always a good story to tell in every individual. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, I remember you. As a resident of City of Tshwane, I can testifier under leadership of "AKA Sputla". You made Tshwane a construction site. The free Wi-Fi you introduced in Tshwane greatly benefited me and many others. You had a wonderful vision for Tshwane, and I am confident you will succeed in any project you undertake. Programs like Tshepo 1, EPWP Catalysis, home-based health visits, and the War on Leaks have made a significant impact. The ANC made a mistake in 2016, but I learned from it. You have indeed addressed the challenges of load shedding, and it's crucial to build more power stations. Additionally, we must prioritize infrastructure maintenance at all levels.

@@rorisangmatea7396 ga ke itse fela DA e ne ya emisa di project tse dingwe tse ne di sa tshwanela go emisiwa. Ko side ya Ga-Rankuwa(ke lebetse lebitso la teng) bane ba emisa project ya di toilet ka 2017/18 and when your favourite mayor Brink was approached he couldn’t answer, in fact they gave it to his spokesperson I think. It was stopped for no reason, they said they smelled corruption which they didn’t find, same story as Tshwane WiFi, and even in 2024 the toilet project had not continued since 2017/18. It was a community centre where the mayor together with his team were invited to answer on stalled constructions, you can check it out it was done by Clement Manyathela for his station I think it’s PowerFM. This was not about construction mafias but it was about DA just stopping projects that ANC did. They felt if it was ANC made then it had to have corruption but it can’t be corruption all over and DA is not as clean as you might think. Even Herman Mashaba said when he was Jozi DA mayor he had DA people come to his home and ask for tenders, this was way before he thought he would even leave the DA. But of course now you guys hate Herman Mashaba because he’s no longer bowing down to DA. Again, not everything that ANC does is full of corruption, not everything DA does is clean.

Great interview. As I have said in previous comments at some stage the "revolutionaries" have to stash the barrettes and AKs and pick up a shovel and become builders. Revolutionaries are good at initiating change but not good at what comes after. After the change builders are what is required. Dr Ramokgopa exemplifies the builders. We have too many people stuck in the revolutionary mindset. Some people think talking more about the past will somehow benefit people. Others look to the future and how to affectively improve people lives (ie. looking at countries that have done it - Singapore etc., and effective implementation of strategies that would benefit the country). If the whole of the ANC was like Dr Ramokgopa for the past 30 years we would not even be talking about things like inequality or "a system that only benefits a few". Lets hope this ethos of diligence, competence, commitment, pragmatism, expertise and true patriotism can start permeating through the ANC and the rest of South Africa.
