Does someone not realize that the operation part of the show is one of the most amazing things that we like to watch? She is very good at her job and it’s amazing to see how she does it and now you’re not showing it so I’m gonna try watching a few more and then I won’t be watching them anymore.

Quite impressed with the doctor's skill, but I think I may be more impressed with this patient. She seems so calm and level-headed about a situation that would have many hiding in a closet. I hope she ends up in a relationship that she deserves. She's a gem.

I commend Dr Lee in so many ways. She ALWAYS finds a way to tackle ANY medical condition even if she has to get advice from her peers or refers the patient to a doctor to perform it. Many doctors don't want to be bothered with certain surgeries out of fear of malpractice, not knowing how to do some procedures due to NOT having the right equipment or just plain lazy. They just pat the patient on the back and tell them to live with it. Many people live with conditions for years because so many doctors have given them the wrong diagnosis or given them a diagnosis and do nothing. People get depressed and discourage and give up. Once you take that oath, turning a patient away should never be an option. Blessings to you Dr Lee 💖

Well stated and I agree. Dr. Lee Is just a great Dr., and I also believe she's a great person. She certainly has the best bedside manner of any I've watched, plus she is so kind to her patients. She gets constant compliments from her patients about how much more she's done in the shortest length of time compared to other D'rs. they've seen. I'm so happy for this patient.

It's not fear or procrastination. It's the lack of $$ to deal with it. Many Health Insurance will call it "cosmetic" so they don't have to cover it.

It’s usually cost, this procedure is considered cosmetic so insurance wouldn’t cover it and this is in america i wouldn’t be shocked if that was like $5k+ or something. I have an epidermoid cyst on my arm the size of a dime and it drives me nuts but i have to pay out of pocket and im in canada i have no idea how much it costs

The insurance companies wouldn't pay because it wasn't affecting her physical health. I knew a woman who had breast-reduction surgery and the insurance pay the whole amount because it was causing her back pain and her doctors told them she needed the surgery to relieve the pain.

So happy for Debra. Dr. Lee did such an amazing job and the hair grew back too. I know the relief of having something removed that you have tried to hide for years. Had a big mole on the back of my neck and every time I asked specialist doctors to remove it, my insurance would never cover the cost as they considered it to be cosmetic so i didn't have it removed. It was growing on the back of my neck for years. One day when I was having lipomas removed, the surgeon said "Do you want me to remove that too?" I said yes and she did. To have to cover some lumpy thing with your hair all your life is weird. Enjoy your new life Debra.

Moles can develop at any age. However, it is more common to develop moles as a child. If you notice a new mole as an adult, you should get it examined by a dermatologist to rule out melanoma.

I had one of these, a few years ago, where my hair line meets my brow. It grew quite quickly from a tiny lump to about the size of this lady’s. Went to the dermatologist and she shared it off in a very few minutes. A big bandage for a day and then it healed perfectly and my hair grew back completely. This was in South Africa, I went to a private dermatologist and it cost me a R2000 (about $200 at the time).

It's not her previous doctors' fault it was still there, it's hers. No doctor would be "too lazy" to do something about it. For reasons known only to herself, she chose not to have it treated.

Put a camera in front of any doctor and watch them work twice as hard. However.. calling them lazy when it's not life threatening is silly. It's upto the individual to get themselves treated and if they want to leave it 23 years then that's on them. If anything isn't this women lazy for leaving it this long? Doctors can't force anyone to get something cosmetic done. Like you're overweight and I'm sure you don't like to be called lazy.

I know a male family member with one of these. Its the size of a nickel, hes had it his whole life. Its grown with him but never bigger, the barber is always careful not to nick it or it bleeds badly.

That should not be considered cosmetic. My doctor removed mine years ago because it was starting to grow and she somehow coded the insurance paperwork to where they accepted it and paid for it. I had one on the same side of my head slightly behind my ear. Mom said I was born with it.
