I wanna go to a dermatology clinic and just spend all day telling people how beautiful and valid they are. It really makes me sad to know a few bumps can make someone feel so bad about themself

well, you don't know how imperfections can make someone feel about themselves so I wouldn't speak until you've walked for 40 plus years in anyone's shoes. I have 5 moles on my face and 2 on my neck that absolutely disgust me. I don't understand why I got 5k moles while my brother got maybe 5 and my sister got 2! I'm going to a plastic surgeon in CA that removes them with a dental laser that pretty much leaves no scar. pray for people that aren't happy with their appearance instead of trying to change their mind. I've lived with my moles since I was 8. im now 43!

@@lindsaydavis9189 A) i didn't say im trying to talk people out of it, nor that i was actually going to go do it. Wanting to do something doesn't equal intent. B) People deserve to feel beautiful before and after whatever procedure is done. Their beauty is not dictated by any "imperfection" they may have C) I'm not religious so I'm absolutely not going to pray, and i see it as a waste of my time. D) everyone deserves a chance to better their self esteem, no matter what the insecurity is. Changing the way you view yourself is very possible and if people are able to do that it benefits them. I'm sorry you have the moles and don't feel beautiful, i really hope the dermatologist can help you. This was my point, that some blemishes/moles/etc shouldn't have to stand in the way of feeling good about yourself, that society forces those unrealistic standards upon people. If someone is able to feel beautiful and learn to love an insecurity, that's awesome. If someone wants to get something removed or changed and feel better after, that's also great. Both of those scenarios are a great time for validation and everyone deserves it.
