Man oh man. As a chronic pain patient who has been passed over by so many drs (I finally found the right ones!) seeing her break down when dr lee said she could help got me. That feeling of hopelessness is truly terrible, and getting that diagnosis alone is amazing, and on top to have someone do something to get rid of the problem is just next level wonderful. Im so happy for her and her daughter, so much love to them ❤

word, then I finally found a physiotherapist that took me seriously I did start crying as well. don't have a diagnosis yet though but at least I got physiotherapy that I can do to relieve some pain. the part where there is so much relief from the patients is one of my favourite things about this series.

I find it so disturbing that almost all the people who come to Dr. Lee, and are helped, were previously dismissed by their doctors. Doctors take an oath to help and heal - not dismiss, and many times humiliate their patients - made to feel like fools.. I thank God for giving us this gift of Dr. Lee!!!!

This case was different...an exception...but go back and watch old episodes. Pay attention to the people featured on the show. Most of them are straight up weirdos. Doctors' worst nightmares. They purposely bring/cast these people on the show to make better tv. Just think about it.... most of these people let things grow on their bodies for decades.....things that could have been initially taken care of with a simple visit to a family doctor. Or...with a pair of tweezers. Not all...but a lot.

Every time I see these, the primary care Dr. Says don't worry about it. I get so angry. They are failing. If they can't take care of it admit it. And refer them to Dr Lee or someone in Dr Lee's arena.

I think it's often because they know their insurance won't cover removal. Which is very true. In most cases, it's considered cosmetic. But a doctor should take the time to explain that so the patient understands what is going on, and can make an informed decision on what to do.

In the UK the NHS won’t remove them, as they are considered cosmetic. Even if you can’t sleep at night because of the placement, you’ll be lucky if they will refer you. I have a family member that had to go private to have them removed, which not everyone can do.

I have to applaud this doctor for helping people. My husband has one on his shoulder about the size of a golf ball, and one on a finger, the size of a small grape. We are not wealthy people so the doctors routinely tell us don’t worry about it it’ll be OK. They just dismiss us. The truth is the insurance will not pay for it removed. So we would have to pay for it out of pocket. Thank you Dr., for all those people you have helped I have tears of joy

And this is why I can’t understand those who don’t want a system like in the U.K. or most of Europe. Those bumps would have been removed while still fairly small! In fact my friend who is into her 90s is seeing her doctor about her cyst this week! I’m so pleased for this poor lady. She felt as if nobody cared about how she looked or felt! She was fobbed off. People in the UK wait a long time for treatments like MRI's, CT's, etc. A friend of mine is in a heart failure group online. Those in the UK and Canada wait a very long time for diagnostic tests like echoes, CT's and MRI's. Some wait over 1 and 1/2 years. My friend is in the US and had hers done that same day.

Depends. After injuring myself last summer I’ve now had 3 MRI’s, and I think 1 CT and 1 X-ray, plus my surgery this year.

A couple moved from British Columbia to Orlando FL for 7 years. Her husband worked for the same Inter National company. Health insurance was provided. When she had to have major dental work done she went back to BC. When she had breast cancer she got tests and treatment right away in Orlando.
