I always joke that I’m not having my mom or grandma waiting outside with a switch for me. Many women get offended if someone says yes ma’am. I’ve had a lot of women tell me, especially older women, “Don’t call me ma’am it makes me feel old...” - well I’m sorry, I’m from the south and it’s just what we say.
