Manmohanji did what he thought was right for the Nation under the circumstances prevailing then. In the process, he had to oblige communal forces too. He was honest and true to Bharat's wellbeing, so despite soo much humiliations, he never allowed someone else to occupy such important post for damage control. I respect him for that. It's very difficult to leave ego and endure things like that. In that sense, he was a great patriot. Nonetheless, what Modiji pointed out is also true. Between them, they might have as well worked together behind the scenes to safeguard Bharat's interests. Just study several footages of body language of Modiji and Singhji together. There was tension free warmth on Manmohanji's face in the presence of Modiji, unlike scenes when he shared frames with Soniaji. Manmohanji is a gem who swallowed so much mire to stand guard for the sake of the Nation, just like what Modiji is doing today. My deep felt gratitude to them. 🙏🙏🙏 Indeed, Bharat is blessed to have such stalwarts protecting it from unscrupulous elements from within and without.
