This Is great for analytical minds. Thinking gets in my way when it comes to faith. Thank God for people like him to break it down for us; without faith its impossible to please God. I always think of he apostle Peter and try to imagine how he would've taught in person. In my opinion Peter is the most practical teacher.

Some good thoughts.. . but: love, peace and joy as presented in Gal 5 are not "emotions", they are a "condition of the soul". Having said that, i fully agree that God desires to heal our emotions. But we can't totally separate heart and mind in this process (that' "Greek" thinking). There is always a connection between these two.

yes, its totally possible to know what pricipality is oppressing you. remember paul says in eph that we don't fight flesh and blood put powers, prinicpalities and forces in the unseen realm. Holy Spirit will show us what we are fighting and How Jesus has delivered us and completely setting us free from every encumbrance. People can operate in gifts all the time but still be oppressed. Gifts and Fruit are two different things. Fruit is the Character of God that we grow in...and that happens as we become more free.

I chose to honor the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God- not "flow". Nowhere have I seen in the Bible does it say to "honor flow". What??

Txboy85A .. you may miss understand .. or interpret it differently .. to what I understand it ... I understand that "flow" ... is the flow of the Holy Spirit ... If I listen in the concept which he is talking about the "flow" .. he reasons about the .. assistance and anointing of the Holy Spirit .. on our REASONING ... to me there isn't a "flow" in the bible ... Txboy85A you may not have seen it before, but here it is: Luke 6:45 "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart." John 7:38 "Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart." The Holy Spirit is the river that flows...moving as He pleases. I would encourage you to not get to "technical" or religious in what Dr. Virkler is saying. You may find that even though you "honor" Jesus, you may be missing His leading in your life. I love your heart for purity, but zeal can sometimes blind us. Any strength that is over extended can become a weakness...your strength is that you are steadfast in your faith. That's awesome...but dont miss his point. Just a thought.

Legaboom How hard is it to say "I honor the Holy Spirit flowing through me...."? Also, I always find it concerning when they start telling people to act like robots and parrot what they are being told to say like "I honor the flow...". I think there is some good stuff here, though. But what I'd like to see is more on Steve and Kay Cox. They are the ones who taught him. I wish I could learn from them directly but don't see much on the net about them.

I am afraid that a lot of the so called flows are not God's words, but exactly the demon's. It is God's for one, but not necessarily the God for everyone.
