Much appreciation to Ross McKeachie's very respectful hosting, which is an art, as well as to Dr. Shaw's story power.

I do like the interviewer, russ. I most appreciate you for giving the interview space to express at will , And equally, I appreciate you for giving space after an expression was given.

I appreciate marrin shaw for expressing the bit about longing; About going without for the good of all. This can happen In the most kind & gentle ways & the rewards are magnificent.

Beautiful Martin. Rumi and W.B. Yeats, two of my most favorite poets. "Longing is the return journey." I like that idea. Such an all around wonderful sharing, of the heart's journey. I am glad I discovered you, by chance. Thank you.

Dr Martin Shaw. thank you. We lack the guidance from elders in these times and you are such a wonderful guiding voice for our times. Would you share your 101 libations you speak of in this video. If we start in september we could truly retunr the light at the solstice? 🙏🏼

I love how distance, 'tis nae matter... from down here in South Africa, Martin echoes my thoughts, insights and sense of current experience (shared again by many country folk around me) #just-a-heads-up ;) keep going!

A profound and insightful exercise in introspection - my soul thoroughly enjoyed it. And now, I'm off to amazon to order Martin Shaw's book, drown in the content, and see where it washed me to - look forward to the journey. Much appreciated, thank you.

Oswald Spengler´s view was that Alexander was the "Napoleonic figure" of the ancient greco-roman world, the fact man who marked the triumph of reason and de facto money and power, over culture, which inevitably occurs in every high civilization in its respective cycle. And this could also be an interpretaion of the story of the Gordian knot.
