I think he died happy. He found a little spring by the wall which provided shade and he lay there for a while, arranging himself with his knees up to help his dizziness. he would have thought I have made it, just a little rest now, in this cool shade and I will get up and finish my trek to safety. I think he thought of his wife and his children and went to sleep and never woke up. Rest peacefully Michael Mosley.

Nice sentiments but sadly - he felt ill & collapsed - he would've been very scared & disorientated. Heat exhaustion & heatstroke I reckon. Very sad indeed 😢

He didn’t collapse He sat down, put he’s feet up in a recovery position, but obviously he was that exhausted it didn’t work

I’ve watched this guy here in Australia on BBC Earth and what he says about balance is not always the case…I had a bad fall because out local council did not maintain the manhole cover out the front of our house and the wheelie bin wheel got caught in a gap and over I went…I ended up in hospital and I’ve suffered spinal cord injury and cerebellum damage (balance control part of the brain) and there is nothing can be done to repair it…I now use a walker and have nerve root injection in my spine to ease the pain.
