Thank you, Doctor Nadir! It took me several years to figure out I needed to deviate from a traditional keto diet and cut my fat back by eating lean meat and reducing calories while maintaining a low carb diet. I finally broke through a my set weight and lost another 15 pounds. You're on the right track, keep going. God Bless

As a former bicycle racer of 25+ years, I find this very interesting. It would have been interesting to experiment with a low carb diet back then, especially as I always struggled keeping my weight and body fat percentage down, despite averaging 15,000 miles a year of bicycle riding for many years.

My theory is that we as humans are wired through availability of wild fruits at the end of summer or end of rainy season to store all that carbs as best as we can to survive winter/future famine and body will allow to lose fat only if there is nothing to eat or if you have better things to eat like meat. But when we conquered plants through the agriculture and make them yield fruits for us through whole year, we broke the system Out of balance.

I remember as a kid saying to my mum and dad, why have they not found a cure yet for the flu or common cold? years later wandering why every single year I would catch a nasty cold cough or flu wandering why some people I knew never got sick around me?? years later still ..ending up in the ICU nearly dying from a cough fluid on my lungs etc etc, then getting better..thank god..I asked the doctor, how do I stop getting sick please?..he just shrugged his shoulders and said I DON"T KNOW. A naturopath was the 1 person who gave me all the answers, not a bloody DOCTOR...Diet was the key..eat shit food and get sick always..EASY AS THAT!! ✨✨FAST FORWARD to now..WOW..good diet..regular excercise and my AQUACURE machine...ALL BOXES TICKED FOREVER...THAT SIMPLE!!✨✨

The good doctor will soon understand that "low carb" (ketosis, actually) will have no negative impact on his cardio exercise performance.

You gotta be fat adapted first, marathon runners are dying of heart attack on a heavy carb loading.
@zperdek
@zperdek 6 ай бұрын
@@powerguiller It's easier to be fat adapted if you eat fat. From there is just small step for your body to use your own fat.

I think Prof. Tim Noakes would disagree about carbs being necessary even for high intensity excercise, but what does he know...?

Probably the same as doctors, I'd bet, no? Because a professor must surely know the same things as a cardiologist. 😂

Hi people. All the advises on social media is for a normal person not for those already seeing a doctor for aome illness. I dont know 100 years ago when some part of the world were facing femine. And a person among them would have thought a day will come when people would be avoiding foods. Only thing is limbs are supposed to move our ancestors moved alot but now its the opposite. The irony is even we dont move enough that could surpass the total time we spent on meal in a day. The best formula is the time you spent in eating in a day should be the time you exercise daily. You dont need to avoid any food. Stone age people would all day to find food and rest was the sleep and eating time. Now ?

Interesting comment on why he does not take fish oil or does not prescribe it. First of all if your insurance is paying for it then most people and doctors don’t consider the cost. But if u are paying for it yourself then find a source of purified EpA/DHa fish oil which can be bought in a liquid form that you can put in the freezer and take a tea spoon or so as it will be fluid. Zone Labs fish oil is one of them. They can verify its purity and stability. EPA plays a role in the delta 6 desaturate to make anti inflammatory prostaglandins and also to make “resolvins” and DHA is rich in the brain tissue and for our eyes.

how to find a truth?? anything is popular in mass' mind it must be a lie. Because mass majority is never smart historically proved. This doctor is smart so he did not prescribe fish oil.

I wonder If Nadir is aware of the shape change in his face? One should know that all protein powders are made with high heat and oxygen which denatures proteins and any fats that are included with the proteins. These denatured proteins are difficult for our bodies to completely breakdown and utilize fully,, hence they, over time those molecules become accumulated through out the body as waste deposits.
