Ire, ire lonio o ire o ire. What a compose!! He ever cherished his people. He never missed his band member. Ade konga, ire o. See the old man with 4 drums at a time. Druming with ease joining it with his acrobatic dancing steps. Only God knew how long they spent together. Bc he was respected and cherished for his token contribution. I think there is much to learn here. My love for this legend can not be measured. Continue to rest in piece. Your music no doubt will transit generations. Universities faculty will one day use your musics to teach undergraduates. My thumb up always my adorable musician. Your music is a healer no doubt.

Oh my gosh, i just observed the real originator of shaku shaku dance steps from this video @9:55 clip meanwhile this album was recorded before most of these naija afro hip hop singers were born. Nothing is new, this new generation singers do take pieces from old creativity. Respect to Baba Orlando Owoh. Your legacy lives forever. This is 2019!

Orlando's Gauntlet At the Borderlands Let's meet at the borderland We two shall meet at the borderland (2ce) The dancing Ant and the Drummer Two Ants at the borderlands Let the Umpire bid us do our thing Umpire (8ce) Aaagh! We two shall meet at the borderlands 1. An issue arose between the Mole Rat and the Chameleon A conflict arose between the Mole and the Chameleon Chameleon declared himself the Mole's evolutionary elder Mole declared himself Chameleon's evolutionary senior They fought to a standstill And sought the oracle's counsel Who was the oracle of those days? The Palm Kernel was the oracle of those days The Kernel bid them speak And each spake thus: Twas the Chameleon who spoke first: Chameleon's Speech He said he was the eldest entirely He declared that on the day he alighted on the Earth Was the day the foundation of the Earth was laid And that the day dry land appeared, marked his evolutionary conclusion 'tis the memory of the Earth's thin crust That makes him thread gingerly so 'I'm the landlord who softly threads upon the Earth Those who don't know better aren't so careful Mole should thus stay quiet It is I who is his elder entirely' Mole's Speech The Mole asked if the Chameleon was done? Before he bid the oracle's audience It is insufficient understanding he said, That leads to wrongful/hasty judgement...(Really dono what he was saying here, but I surmise that's the gist of it) The Mole declared himself senior, senior to the Chameleon (2ce) He said on the day he alighted upon the Earth There was no ground about the Earth entirely That the day on which he was formed None had yet formed the skies He said that on the day of his mother's burial There was no Earth to lay her corpse He bore her corpse on his head Till it rotted in his flesh (2ce) Thus the explanation for my foul stench 'No rodent smells as foul as I, everybody knows that' (2ce) It is the rotted corpse of my Mum That makes me smell foul so Thus I'm Chameleon's elder Let the majority declare it so 3. Orlando's Declaration I will rule, I will rule It is I who will rule them all My musical foes Gard yourselves and so will I Let's meet at the arena of songs There will know who rules I will outlast, I will outlast them all The entertainer who invokes my spirit for ill....I will outlast The drummer....." The Priest....." The Spiritualist...." (The remaining Yoruba is quite complex, hopefully someone with a firmer grasp of the language can help translate from here)
