Omg, just saw this notification. I used to WORK WITH this guy for a while in Blackpool! Genuinely one of the creepiest people I have ever met. I spotted lots of odd things about him pretty swiftly, but most were taken in by him. He would tell the most ridiculous lies you've ever heard. He used to come to work with a sports holdall and tell everyone he was a black belt in karate. He produced his karate kit out of his bag one day - all brand new in plastic, folded and never used. He could no more do karate than my cat! He's a lot more sinister in person than he seems in stories. He'd spend some lunch times (we found out later from police), at the local hospital, pretending to be a doctor and trying to administer unknown medications to patients. I honestly feel, after studying true crime for years and spending time with this bloke (there were only 5 of us in the company, and we all worked in the same office), that he's done more than the police know...he seems like one of those slow burning time bomb type characters... One of the ladies he'd conned came to the office one day to warn us all (he'd been working with us for about 8 months then). He'd not only conned her but abused her, mentally & physically. I honestly don't think this guy is just a conman. There's something else going on there as well...he had completely dead eyes.

I agree. Most of these cases are notorious for a reason. There's always so much more that never gets told. More professional journalists and documentaries rely n what can be proven. A lot like serial killers. They can only safely say what they were convicted for. So most stuff like this is told through court documents and trial transcripts. It doesn't always cover things that weren't reported or couldn't be proven. There's always so much more under the surface, like an iceberg. Wish there was a place where people could comment what their experience was. Like an official site. But! Reddit would be a great place to show your cats karate skills! Lol THAT'S the story I'd like to hear!

OMG i have just seen his face after 30yrs trying to forget him.Iworked as a nurse wih him in 1983 at the whittington hosp. I was newley qualified as a nurse and worked in emergency with him . Many times he worked with me and performed more duties than the media say. I dated him over 6 weeks and he had blonde hair then .I lived in the nurses home in highgate and many times he stayed over. We had lots of dates in expensive resterants and i had many gifts. H e was not around very long as his beeper would activate. Only now i realise he activated himself.He stole the trust of my parents and when he was arrested one night at work they insinuated i had someway encoraged his activitys in engaging his post. I was 23 in a job i loved and was terminated because of his actions. There is a much deeper thing that he brought on me that i cannot discuss publicly. This parasite wrecked havoc to human beings in my workplace and caused me trauma that will never cease. Not a legend fraudser a bastard i would still hunt down

@@WillaHerrera But I don't want to just be an RN. I have my career goal and I like to be challenged. I don't want to get paid for basically doing nothing. That's the difference between your friend's wife and I. I want to positively effect the broken system which more often than not ignores the roll of nutrients in regards to mental health and general illnesses. I would feel unfulfilled just taking a paycheck. This isn't a job for me, this is an extension to my innate nature of being; my desires to leave the world and the medical field a better place than it was before I entered the field. Without even having my RN certification I have been able to help several people with illnesses by addressing their symptoms which were, to me, clearly a nutritional deficiency expressing it's self e.g. B12, or D. And I was right after they asked for the tests I suggested. But all that aside, yes it's great to know that once registered all of Europe, and the greater world without language barriers is open to me if I wish to travel.

This was in the early 80’s before things were digitalised. Now, this will be very difficult to pull off seeing that the hospital has a more digital security. You can look up any doctor even to the school they went to by one click. Just go to the GMC register online, type the name and bingo. Even If he got through the doors, he would have to steal someone’s ID and log in to access or treat any patient. Thank GOD for technology

Even in the 1970's and 1980's you can't get a job as an LVN without being asked for picture ID, references, schooling information, CV, etc..... It's one thing to con women and act as a financial advisor, but how does he manage to go into the hospital systems, especially after being caught and being thrown in jail more than once. I mean this is the UK, not some rural village in a third world country. That does not give someone much confidence in the health care system.

Bint was jailed for impersonating Sir Keir Starmer who was the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). Speaking on an episode of Life Stories, which aired on June 1, 2021, Sir Keir told Piers Morgan that Bint answered lonely hearts' adverts in the Sunday Times pretending to be him. Sir Keir said: “He would take a taxi down to see one of the women that he was seeing as Keir Starmer, down to the West Country, and say put the bill on the Crown Prosecution Service, director of public prosecutions.

MDs in ERs are so busy with their own patients that they don't have time to pay attention to what other doctors are doing. Even real med students goof off by scheduling dead patients on Friday afternoons in clinic so they can get off early because they know that nobody will show up. Sometimes the supervising MD doesn't even count how many patients their students see, so some guys would just goof off, go on break and let others do all the work. They all worked in separate exam rooms, so no one was all the wiser except some of the nurses who didn't speak up.

I think it's sad that in the present primitive state of development of knowledge in their fields, psychiatrists and clinical psychologists write reports in which they say certain individuals are "untreatable" and judges choose to believe such negativity.
@angelface925
@angelface925 2 жыл бұрын
Well, judges can usually only rule on something with the evidence presented to them by experts, rule according to precedent, or risk an unproven (in court proceedings) ruling that gets the whole thing declared a mistrial. But they should have had better professional witnesses at the trial. But some things are untreatable because the patient doesn't think they have a problem. It's hard to tell if the judge has a backwards view of psychology or not. I don't know why this documentary felt it necessary to even say that. Definitely didn't feel right lol

@@angelface925 That's certainly a good point that people labelled as having a "personality disorder" need to want to change if treatment is likely to succeed. However, mainstream psychiatrists and clinical psychologists seem to be saying more than that regarding "psychopaths". What I understand them to be saying is that no treatment will be effective anyway for those they give that label to. It's sad that mainstream opinion is so adamant when there still seems a lot to learn about the human psyche. When I needed help with depression my doctor told me, "Perhaps in the future we'll know how to help you". A psychiatric nurse said he considered the workings of the human mind the last frontier of knowledge. That was a while ago but I suspect knowledge is increasing only slowly. For example, on his KZbin channel Dr Grande says that compulsive hoarding disorder used to be considered a form of obsessive-compulsive disorder but that has changed. I know the hands of those on the bench are tied when it comes to sentencing "psychopaths". If a judge were to make a hospital order in cases such as the Bint case, the psychiatrists, after a few days of observation, would just say the person was "untreatable" and discharge him to prison. But judges when saying there is no treatment could emphasise AT PRESENT. I think that might give a glimmer of hope to the loved ones of the prisoner.
