Peter Levine is one of my cohorts and friends and is a pioneer in the field of treatment of traumatic stress. He treated me for my childhood trauma, and prompted my entry into the field of PTSD and its treatment. I wrote 3 books, and healed from my childhood most of the symptoms of my childhood injuries. I am delighted that these complex problems have pursued its exposure in the Your Tube studies.

I began healing myself from my PTSD and childhood trauma and did some specific things as led by my intuition over the course of maybe 5-7 years. I had a kundalini awakening during this time. I had no idea what it was, so it sent me on a goose chase trying to figure it all out. I was a Christian in the West so we were not openly taught about this, but I can't help what I was born into. However, I was intently seeking my true identity and was in the process of reading the Bible for the 7th time. It is also my understanding that each chakra is tied to a specific psychological aspect of ourselves. It is encoded in many mystical traditions as the serpent at the base of the tree that brings wisdom and knowledge. I am so happy Dr Levine actually spoke of this phenomenon in this video. Kudos. I hope we are at a time now where we can openly recognize that Biology/Psychology and Spirituality can harmoniously co-exist as with the new findings of Epigenetics, the body's nervous system and the human brain are studied. I am so impassioned by this; I want to make this my life mission to assist others.

Your experience on healing yourself is encouraging because the practioners are very expensive. And I do not want to allow money to block my healing.
@kristinak1972 Жыл бұрын
@@Wyze2Eyes One thing I have learned through this process is that we are simply consciousness experiencing human life. Try to separate the ego from that fact. The false ego identity is the trap and keeps us from knowing our true soul identity. Come into the present moment each time your mind wanders to the past and its troubles or your potential future worries or even the present issues. Focus on having everything you desire already (such as abundance). If you cannot do that in the surroundings you are in (say in front of a stack of bills), then relocate to where you will feel it. When I sit in nature and allow my senses to be permeated with all the beauty in nature around me, I feel abundant. I recognize that if I lost everything material thing that I have, Mother Earth would sustain my survival with everything she already provides. Allow your magnetic heart to open in gratitude for all that already is. That is how to manifest more abundance. This has been echoed by many mystics. Try not to get attached to the thing you are needing like money, etc. If you think lack all the time you will continue manifesting lack. We literally manifest our future by being it right now. The more you cultivate stillness, the more the voice of the soul aka higher self will come through to guide you. When you feel you are getting triggered by something that elicits an emotional response, return to gratitude. That is the gateway. Try to practice this daily. Be patient as it will take multiple attempts to re-wire the new neural pathway in your brain. This is called neuroplasticity. If you are struggling with anything at all, trauma, addictions, fear, health issues, anxiety etc., this works. It is called Epigenetics. Your state of mind (environment) is what causes genes to express. It is the new Biology discovered by Dr Lipton. Look into Eckert Tolle, Dr Joe Dispenza, Dr Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden for starters. Kundalini awakening is also called DNA Activation when our dormant DNA that scientists call "dumb DNA" gets turned on and we reclaim who we really are which are spiritual beings inside a physical body.
@kristinak197210 ай бұрын
@Mystictarot7 we are constantly manifesting as humans. It's all based on what we feel we are presently as all miracles occur in the "now" moment. We attract what we vibrate at in the now moment. Thoughts are frequencies proven by Quantum Physics. If you want more, e.g, abundance, you have to already feel abundant. Dont worry and fear the lack you are experiencing. This has been proven time and again and taught by many people. Try tricking the mind. Wake up every day and add to a gratitude journal all the little things you are thankful for. Give to others who have less of something than you have whatever you can, even if it's only time or talent and not treasure. Break a $5 bill into singles and give $1 away to 5 people as a small token of giving. There truly is more joy in giving to those who have less in some aspects. Don't focus on the negative aspects of your experience like ill health or lack of material things as thoughts are energy. If you focus on it, the universe will deliver more opportunities to experience those things as it only responds to what you are already. Try to get into your heart and see goodness in things, experiences, or people no matter how difficult they may seem. Eating healthy, exercise, and daily spiritual practice like meditation, journaling, and connecting with the healthy electrons in nature heals us too. We literally re-wire our entire nervous system by fixing the monkey mind. If negative thoughts erupt, overwrite the thought with a counter positive one until you actually believe the new thought and embody it. It has been proven through Epigenetics that we can literally heal our bodies through the environment, which is thought. We are not predestined for anything genetically. If we raise our consciousness, we literally create our new reality. Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, Marianne Williamson, and many others all pioneers in this field.

Fight, flight or freeze is a common reaction of the sympathetic nervous system; the system that is responsible for our safety. It floods our body with cathecholamines like epinephrine, norepinephrine and cortisol from internal stress. Sustained cortisol in our bodies causes health issues. As humans we desire to be accepted by "the tribe" whomever that is, family, spouse, friends, colleagues etc. We create many masks to be accepted by others. It is a self-preservation mechanism. We may remain silently wearing all our heavy masks not being true to ourselves or justify someone else's behavior and remain. In the wild, animals shake off a hunt and then run. Humans embody the trauma trying to move past it (forgive and forget) without releasing it. It then gets trapped in our cells and energy body (chakras). Getting back to our true self requires doing the shadow work of facing our inner "liars" and finally removing the masks even at the expense of losing those in our tribe who may love conditionally. I hope you have found your way to a safe place. Let go and let God as they say. Universal law takes care of the rest. "The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek. - Joseph Campbell

This really explains a lot in a way that others can understand. I get it. I mean I told people all the time-oh I’m just “processing” bcuz I’d have a trigger and I’d be fine for awhile then another one later and it was like going down levels with it or slowly opening a package maybe. Leaving it. Coming back to it. Leaving again. Coming back again. Etc. I had my own ways of feeling things a bit at a time (narc abuse by both parents) and it wasn’t yoga or chakras or whatever like that. I guess whatever works for someone as an individual. Main thing is just looking at it and letting the feelings come. Embracing them. Accepting them as a simple objective fact without self judgment.

Releasing trauma, trapped within as energy fields in separation. Fragmented selves trapped in suffering. Only in a soma/body conscious state can we utilize chi within, consciously working to free trapped trauma to become whole to become free from bondage. Similar to what Eckhart Tolle talks about we have to bring consciousness into our trapped trauma to free our selves from suffering. To do this we must direct our chi into the trauma where ever felt in the body then command that that energy come home to become whole again.. We truly have to become masters of our selves to achieve this, there are no short cuts IMO.

Immobilisation or freezing develops over many aspects of life. The body has it's own logic and finds a way to live with the so called unlivable. It is a titration process, the healing and getting to that place of joy and peace makes it worthwhile. But there are areas which are stubborn and these pioneers may hold a way forward.

I honestly think it would be a lot more beneficial for therapists to actually learn how to practice somatic experiencing before introducing patience to the method used. From my personal experience I dont think therapist understand enough on how to 'practice' the method behind this theory.
@antonvannelli90852 жыл бұрын
Somatic experiencing works because it is connecting you to your body. The body is the frame of reference for safe. Unfortunately somatic experiencing does not reconnect muscular systems and areas that have become disconnected. This physical disconnection is something that becomes programmed over time, until your brain no longer even recognizes that part of your body. This is often found (in my research and practice with clients) in abdominals and obliques- often times with people having little to zero sensation of these areas at first. It is also extremely common with neuropathies. The less connected we are to our physical bodies the less grounded we are. The less grounded, the more in trauma we are and will remain. The more connected we are physically, the stronger we are physically (no physical body imbalances/pain etc from muscular and postural issues) and more the limbic system actually resets back to the parasympathetic state. Somatic experience touches on HOW this works (like many forms of bodywork that allow people to reach the parasympathetic briefly), but does not fully reconnect and reprogram the neuro disconnection between body and brain. For example, if the spine stays in extension (posturally) what hope do we have to get out of perpetual guarding-therefore a continual fight/flight state? I hope this message helps you in your own path. I currently work in the space and specialize in neuro reprogramming for muscular issues and limbic system reprogramming. The link between the two, and how the body is impacted and vice/versa- is incredibly strong.
