Hmong people only value sons. Daughters are over looked all the time no matter what we do. Maybe there are some family who values their daughters, but don't have your hopes too high. Sad, but the truth, wait until you are imperfect in their eyes, wait until your marriage fails or fail in something in general, and see if their love is still true and pure.
