Paul did not approach singleness as broken ness. He saw it as being preferred for serving God. So the perspective is not biblical based but rather the church's lack of understanding of the topic.

I actually think I have depression. We have children and I want to be together til death do us part😞. I don’t want to be single. But I will keep focusing on Jesus and continue praying. I’m hoping for a miracle.

I think being single is a gift if there is no bitterness or un-forgiveness attached to it. A lot of people choose to be single out of fear of being hurt, bitter due to a past experience, or whatever the case maybe. Not because they are destined or created to be single. That is why we should seek God with a whole heart in every decision that we make in Jesus name. I pray blessings upon blessings to all in Jesus name. Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen.

@@tracey1brave. I didn't say 'solve problems,' I said 'better/easier.' You seem to be fixated on the 'problem solving' thing (as per your separate post above). Even God said it's not good for man to be alone-that is also in Genesis. God doesn't need people to be married to have a godly nation-godly people (in His strength) create a godly nation, single and married. A good marriage is a symbol of Christ and the church.

Col 3 talks about the Christ who fills all and in all as the New Man... And this new man was created on cross 'abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances....' basically culture was thrown away. Brothers and sisters.... We've got to let Christ fill us and become the all in all. We cannot continue to live to one another or cultural requirements. We live to the Lord Jesus our master (Rom 14:7-9).
