No. Don’t compress the baby’s chest!! Inflate it, 5 times and then keep on inflating. Dry, stimulate. Only if there’s no change you should do compressions

It depends on when this show was filmed. The procedures for at least child and adult CPR have changed so much since I was certified to teach it 35 yrs ago that the dating of the show is critical.

My genuine question: is this regarding baby cpr for immediately after being born? Due to c section fluid in the lungs? Or is this a newer technique for infant/baby CPR? My dads a retired fire chief and I am pretty briefed on first aid, I just need to test out for EMT ect, but wanted to know, because I also run a 98 room Hilton, and ANYTHING can happen, so I like to be prepared.
