I see many problems with this. 1. Inn medieval Islamic world, women did play very important roles and some were even Muftis even in the Ottoman empire. So to use this feminist gender tactic is no good. 2. Whether the speaker likes it or not, men will always make decisions compared to women. This is unavoidable. Men will always train women to do specific things. Yes of course many of our great male scholars were taught by female scholars, I don't dispute that. But ultimately, Allah has preferred men over women. 3. Al-azhar should not be taken as an example of a great Islamic institute. I don't say that because I'm a guy, far from it. But they are trying to change Islam. Once a respected institute, now Al-azhar is not what it used to be back in the day. Which is why many scholars are advising people not to study there. While I have many, many, many issues with the Salafi da'wa, and am not recommending this institute, the Islamic university of Madinah is a far better institute as it sticks closer to orthadox, traditional Islamic teaching.

@MuhammedDenix There is. A lot to unpack but let us just clarify one thing Madina University is a Wahhabi university not orthodox at all. The traditional Ulema with the highest qualifications still exist in every country. And the scholars are known. Hadramaut in Yemen has one the best schools called dar Al Mustapha for men and dar azzahra for women.

@@binthamadicamara2077 Oh I agree Madinah university has a lot of problems. You are right in the sense that the Salafi da'wa has many non-traditional positions, I don't dispute that. But the liberal stuff that are being pushed in this video is even worse, although the salafiya are starting to liberalize slowly as well.
